My granddaughter is now almost 7months old and weighing a little over 20 pounds, should we go ahead and buy a Convertible seat and get out of the infant carrier. It’s just such a struggle to get her in and out of the vehicle anymore. But I don’t want to rush things either. Please help?
He is weighting 20 pound and not able to fit in the regular baby car seat. Please tell me which one is the best and brand.
Thanks for the help
I’m planning on traveling with my 6 month old soon but am having trouble working out some logistics. For example, do I check the whole car seat and base so he can have a way to travel once we arrive? Are those rentable somewhere?
And I can’t exactly check a crib - where does he sleep if I’m going somewhere without a baby bed?
He will still be on breast milk but also just starting solids then. Thanks for suggestions!
I will be traveling alone (without husband), so carrying a baby, suitcase(s), carseat, diaperbag, purse and a pack’n'play is a little intimidating.
I’m going to wind up at LAX airport with an eight month-old infant, a ton of luggage, and no car seat. We don’t know anyone who can meet us there; what are our transportation options?
Since yesterday I have found an alarming amount of moldy items in my basement ranging from: a baby swing, car seat, play gym, to chairs, desk, and sleeping bag.
I threw out almost everything. In hope of maybe having a second child, I saved my first daughter’s things. I put them down in the basement in bags and the mold is growing inside the bags. The car seat and baby swing is growing multi-colored mold all over the harnesses.
Can I make this safe so my future child can use this or should I just toss them?
I’ve tried it before & it moved all over the place. I’m thinking about buying one, but not if my son is tipping over when I turn.
I have rear facing baby seats to fit in my Nissan Navara Outlaw pick-up but the seat belts aren’t long enough. Does anyone know where to get seat belt extensions to solve the problem?
I have large items like an infant car seat, exersaucer, baby bathtub that must be stored in a garage where mice are a possibility. These items need to be stored for at least 1 1/2 years without a mouse getting through and I have limited space (a large storage bin for each item is not feasible)
Today my 9 month old baby figured out how to get out of his car seat. I have no idea how. He had himself turned around and his head stuck around the strap. The thing was still buckled and the plastic thing that goes across his chest and attaches to the other strap was still together. The straps were also tight on him too. I actually need to get a new car seat because the straps are too tight and digging in to him. But is there something I can buy to attach to his car seat to keep him in it? I’m going to try to find a car seat with a bar across it but if I can’t I’ll need something else.
I am looking for advice on vehicles. I have 3 children of my own to buckle up and on occation look after 2 others. Any advice on a vehile that would hold 3 regular sized car seats, 1 booster seat and 1 baby car seat?
I currently have a chevy venture. It holds 2 kids in car seats in each row. Trouble with the 5th seat.
When my kids were infants (back in the 1990s), the maximum weight of the infant car seat was 20 pounds. My kids were more like 17 or 18 pounds when the car seat straps were getting too tight over the shoulders and we couldn’t use it anymore. How much did your babies weigh when the infant seat got too small? How old was you baby?
When I buy an infant car seat that is also a carrier do I have to buy a base for it to be used as a car seat? Do I need to buy anything else with it?
