I had been in a huge accident and had the entire front end suspension redone; A month after I got the car back (4 months ago- yes I have waited but didnt know what it was) the AIR BAG light went on randomly. What could this mean and how expensive is this?

I rear-ended a BMW 330 on some slick pavement going maybe 10-15 MPH. Now, two years later, they are suing me for 0,000… 0,000 over-and-above damages. I was curious if anyone knows if BMW had implemented active head restraints in their vehicles at that point. If so, I can probably end this before it even goes to trial. She hired one of those lawyers from TV… You know, "Are you hurt? Do you want to be hurt? Do you just want money? Well call me, _______ _______. I only get paid if you win" Sorry, I’m a little synical on this subject… Please help if possible. I’m 23, I have a wife and daughter, and I was laid off in Febuary and am still struggling to find work.

My husband and I have been searching for a new forward facing car seat, for our 14 month old, and so far it has come down to:
Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat matrix
Britax Marathon
Britax Decathlon
Britax Regent
Our main concern is the CROTCH STRAP. We can easily find reviews on the safety of the car seat, but most do not help out with finding the one with the right crotch strap. Our son is in the 75th percentile, and so his height is a bit taller then some, (he is not heavy by any means) but we wanted to make sure that the crotch strap wouldn’t be too short, in that buckling him in, will not make the other belts press against his legs too hard. That is the problem with our car seat at the moment. We were wondering if any mothers or fathers had any suggestions with these car seats because they have one, or had one, or if any of you have a recommendation for a car seat that I have not listed, that has the feature of a long or adjustable crotch strap. It would help us out greatly to know which one would be better suited for our son. We do know that most of the car seat brands have the short crotch strap (which we find irritating and frustrating) but we are hoping someone out there knows of a safe car seat with the perfect crotch strap that we might have missed in our research. Thank you to everyone, we greatly appreciate the suggestions!
We are not worried about the price and we can not try these certain seats because they are not sold in any stores near us.

I bought my daughter a 2 pc bikini from Old Navy. When I got home I showed it to my fiance and he said I shouldn’t dress her in a bikini because it is inappropriate. I told him its not for public places, but more for grandmas house, or our backyard but he still didn’t like the idea.
Do you find it inappropriate for a baby/toddler to wear a 2 piece bikini?

OK, this may sound weird. And I’m not even talking about a wife or girlfriend. It just irks me a little.
This woman works with my in my office (I own the place, it’s a small office with a handful of staff). We have a shower room that apparently, has never been used by anyone except her. The shower room has a shower holder with adjustable height.
2 days ago I had to use the shower because I had to rush to some occasion, so I adjusted the height about 10 cm upward.
This morning when I was about to put my son into the car, I found my car-seat kinda loose and all messed up.
Later she told me it’s "an eye for an eye" because I had messed up with the shower. She even cried in front of the other staff and called me "insensitive", as if I’ve made her pregnant or something (no, I haven’t). I was like "Huh?"
Am I in the wrong (maybe I should’ve reset the shower to her liking)?
Your thought on this?

I have a 19 day old newborn who is constantly crying till early ours of the morning. I end up having to breastfeed her for sometimes 6 or 7 hours on and off. As soon as I stop feeding she cries. I’ve tried everything. Burping her, giving her infants’ friend drops, swaddling her, rocking her. Eventually she gets to sleep but it is very draining on me. Any suggestions would be grateful please!

When we had our daughter, we bought a travel system stroller, with the carseat and stroller, along with a car seat base. We were looking into the double stoller by the same company online and actually found out that our make and model manufactured between certain dates (between May 12 2005 and September 12, 2006) had been recalled because the UAS straps were too long and had come loose, and injuring children. Ours was manufactured in June 2006. They were recalled in March 2007, just before our daughter was born at the end of march. We used the car seat with her with no problems. I only found out about this recall last week.
When we buy a double stroller, should we also buy a new car seat, even though we didn’t have any issues with the car seat when our daughter was in it?
I did. The Minitry of Transportation site for Ontario listed all codes and ours was one.

I drive a four door Ford Focus. I already have two children, ages 4 and 2, with one more on the way. I’m looking for guidance or advice on what to do when the new baby arrives. The back seat is only big enough for two car seats. By the time the new baby is born, my 4 year old will be 4 1/2. Can she safely sit in the front passenger seat of the Focus, with the appropriate car seat, so that my younger two can sit in the back seat? I know I should definitely disable the front passenger airbag. But is this safe? Getting a bigger vehicle would be tough financially. Any other advice would be appreciated.
Wow, I didn’t expect to be judged about having a third child, I was just asking about car seat safety. If it is imperitive that I get a bigger vehicle, I will. I said it would be a strain financially, not impossible. Relax people.
