So my son is almost 6 months and is ready to move to a bigger car seat because he weighs 19.1oz and is 29in. Obviously safety is a must!!! But I cant afford a 0 car seat plus im looking for safety but resonably priced. I have looked at the Evenflo Triumph car seat and liked that one but I hear Britax is better. Any idea’s on a safe, well priced car seat whatever the brand. Thank You!

They look like this http://www.jackstoolshed.com/index/page/product/product_id/1571/product_name/2-Piece+Gate+Hook+and+Eye+Set+-+Regular+and+Spring-Loaded+Safety+Latch but without the spring part. I need to know how to install them because I have no instructions. I don’t know if I should hammer it in a bit, then screw the rest in, or what.

It seems that overall everyone agrees that reforms are needed. While many feel that competition will bring down cost, others feel a one payer system would be best.
Knowing that the insurance industry has made many promises to reform itself, and we are still waiting for those reforms. How can we believe they will make any reforms unless the government forces them?
While many feel that government regulations hurt companies, without the government having regulations, where would we be today. Lead paint would still be used, cars would not have seat belts or air bags, actually there would be no safety devices on cars, as they do add cost to the manufactoring process. There would be no inspection of food products.
So do you really think that health care will get better with or without government intervention, knowing that companies will not change unless forced to change?

A friend of mine has a one year old boy who is 18 pounds. The doctors tell her it’s something like failure to thrive, they also mentioned something like "hansen williams". Is this a disease, or a disorder? I looked it up on webmd.com but nothing came up with that search. Also, the mom is still treating her son like a new born baby…like carrying the baby in the infant carrier instead of putting him in the next size up car seat, she carries him everywhere instead of letting him walk so he doesnt walk yet. He’s 18 pounds, eats like a horse according to the mom, but still never gains any weight. He kinda says some words, but not too much. Could this be the mom forcing the baby to remain a baby instead of growing to be a toddler? Or is something really wrong?

My baby loved playing with the toys dangling from the handle of the infant car seat. Now that he’s in a full size car seat I haven’t figured out how to have toys dangling for him to play with. Does anyone have a solution for this?
I should clarify he’s 8 months old and the car seat is rear facing. If I just gave him toys to play with he’d toss them. I was hoping to find some kind of bar that could be attached to the car seat but I couldn’t find anything.

I was wondering if I could get some insight on purchasing a convertible car seat rather than an infant car seat for my baby. The convertible seat we are looking at can be rear facing and forward facing and sits from 5-65lbs. Or do you think we should just purchase the infant seat? Thank you in advance!

Someone gave me a Graco carseat but it’s missing the umbrella part.
The only # I see on it is LAPC0194A. I tried searching it online but can’t find anything.
The base color is like cream and the actual cover is black and white.

I need to do a german accent. its comical so it has to be the sterotypical german accent. this is what I have to say:
I am Otto Lilienthal, a daredevil German glider pilot who has flown twenty-five hundred monoplane flights. Tomorrow, August eigth, eighteen nintey-six, I will attempt to make the greatest flight of all time.
My steering technique involves my dangling below the wings on a harness, and shifting my weight wherever i want to go. That way I can take off and land using my feet.
Hello again this is daredevil plot Otto Lilienthal, I’m speaking to you from Heaven. My plane zigged when it should have zagged and I went kaput!
Please tell me how I should pronounce each word. PLEASE!!!! 10 points to whoever helps me the most and it sounds the best.!!!!

I am interested in jogging strollers for my almost 3 year old. I would like to use it for roller blading and walking. Does anyone have one that they use similarly? Do you love it or hate it? Any tips or advice?
What brand and model do you have?

I spent a year in Australia on a working holliday visa, where i met my boyfriend (who is Australian). We don’t think that we’ll be able to get a partner visa, and don’t really want to get married straight away, so we were thinking our best option might be for me to go back there on a tourist visa for 12 months, then after that we could apply for a partner visa. But i don’t know if they would grant me a tourist visa if it was to stay with my boyfriend for a year, would it be better if i just said i wanted to travel. He earns enough to support me for that year, so money wouldn’t be too much of an issue. Also we’re having a baby, due on the 6th of march so he’s coming back here (to england) on a tourist visa when the baby’s born, so we were thinking after that we could all go back to Oz on the tourist visa for a year, but could the baby travel on my visa with me, or would i have to apply for a separate one?

I have a 21 month old daughter. I was using nuby for while. But I really had hard time cleaning out the sprout area. My daughter on bright beginning soy pedriatic drink. That stuff gets into their and makes it hard to clean. So now they are smelling and leaking has well. My daughter can use the hard ones.
So what kind sippy cups are your toddler using and want their favorites.

I am wanting to get the Graco MyRide or ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat but I don’t see any that come with a stroller/travel system… I already have a travel system, will the convertible seats work with my stroller? Also will it work with the base I have now too?
Ok sorry I’m really confused now because I went to Babies R Us do purchase a Graco MyRide 65 Convertible and it comes with a stroller that goes with it…
