I’m migrating to Australia in Jan with a 6 months old baby. I can buy a stroller and a cot from where I’m living right now (sri lanka) at a cheaper price. However I’m wondering those available in sri lanka are allowed to use in Ausi.
Or need to know what are the criteria that I must consider when buying a cot or a stroller that is to be used in Ausi
Thanks
Rasika

When I take my dog out to the park, she doesn’t know to sit still in the car. I know its dangerous to have a dog in your lap while you’re driving but I’m curious if there’s a method to keep your dog as calm as possible while its in a car? Do you have a booster seat or a harness which is attached to a seat belt? I don’t have a four door car otherwise I’d put her in there while I’m driving.

My toddler is now waking up every couple hours since we brought home the baby. When she wakes up she wants me. It seems like it is getting worse instead of better. What do I do?

Can’t you just purchase a regular car seat and save some money?

My son has a booster seat that goes from 5-point harness to booster with the seat belt.

Just wondering what I could be looking for as far as a change in my newborn…..I know all newborns are different, but what changes could happen around this time? She is already holding her head up for 20+ seconds at a time and sometimes follows me with her eyes…

We’re bringing our toddler to California in May.Flying into Las Vegas and renting a car from there. We are hoping not to bring our car seat on the plane as it’s very bulky so instead we would get one when we get there. We aren’t risking renting one as I’ve heard many stories of filthy seats, unsafe seats, seats involved in recalls or expired parts.
The plan is to get a cab from the airport to whichever hotel we book and have the car delivered there the next day.Buying the seat would actually end up costing less than renting anyway.
Maybe there’s a place we can buy one when we’re on the way from the airport to the hotel? Can we get a cab from the airport without using a car seat or will a cab refuse to take us?I don’t know how it works and I’m a little bit of a control freak so can’t relax until I know how we will deal with all of this

I am going to start the couch to 5k challenge next week but I need a good stroller. We live around a lot of dirt roads and a lot of strollers with plastic wheels just don’t do the trick.

The model car I am seriously considering buying (1995 model) does not have the latest LATCH safety bars/latches in it, as far as I know for the models produced that year. This particular car did not get that feature until a few years later than 1995. However, this is the only car I can afford right now
I have a 20 month old toddler whose booster car seat HAS to be used with a LATCH system. Is there any safe way to purchase/use this car? Can LATCH be installed later?? (I know that’s not likely!!) What are my options here? I am going to read back through my carseat manual, but in the meantime anyone else find a solution for this problem?? I am REALLY big on safety for my baby’s carseat, that’s why I am looking to see if we can possibly work with this car, or not. Thanks so much for your experience with this prob!
OK people, NOOO, my child is not in an ACTUAL booster, she is in a carseat!!! I guess I put booster because she’s not in an INFANT seat. Geezus can I just get an answer for the question please?? In my question I stated I AM REALLY PICKY ON SAFETY do you really think my child is in a booster??!

Aubree was 14lbs at her last DRs appointment about a month ago. It seems to me that she has grown a lot since then! The carrier is really starting to get heavy. Since Im doing everything on my own right now (Daddys away for training for the Air Force), Im wondering if it would be easier to just start using the convertible car seat that we have, sitting backward of course!
No crap! I just think that carring her in my arms would be easier than carrying her plus the carrier.
Aubree doesn’t stick out yet but I give it another month. Something I didn’t think about is that if we go to the store, I won’t be able to just stick her carrier on the cart.. and since she’s not an independent sitter yet, I can’t just sit her in the seat part. :-\ Guess I have to stick it out a little longer until she’s able to sit properly in the seat.

I know the important thing is that they are safe but I have looked through hundreds online and in the store and pretty much every single one is dark brown with either beige, light pink, or lime green in either a plain, plaid, or polka dot design. Why don’t they make more variety in patterns and colors, such as bright or pastel colored animals or something else fun and cute?

Y’know the ones that you put on and your baby is in it an it’s in front of you. what if you fall over. Wouldn’t you like totally squash the baby?
