I’ve a 5 month daughter. This is my first child. I need to buy her an exersaucer so I could take shower and house chores. Has anybody used that exersaucer and can tell me if this exersaucer is any good?

I have a 2 door Chevy Cobalt. I went to Babies R Us looking for a travel system stroller. The stroller when folded up would not fit in my trunk due to the fact that the trunk opening is only 12×35 inches or so. Ideally I would like a lighweight stroller that still allows you to put the carseat on it. So I’m not interested in a cheap umbrella stroller. I need something supportive enough for a newborn and something that grows with my newborn.

My little boy turned a year old last week and he’s a little over 20 lbs…I just bought a new car seat (Graco Nautilus) because I felt he was bored in his rear-facing seat (Chicco KeyFit up to 22 lbs), plus the cover on it made him really hot and sweaty no matter how high the A/C would be, causing him to be cranky in the car. This new car seat’s minimum weight is 20 lbs, we put him today and he loved it! he was able to view everything needless to say the cars eat is very comfy…My question is: am I being irresponsible for switching him to a forward facing seat already? I mean the minimum requirements are 1 year old and 20 lbs right? but I know some people say "keep them rear-facing for as long as possible" which with my Chicco KeyFit would only be possible for a few more months when he’s 22 lbs…any suggestions? advice? encouragement words?

We are shopping for a new stroller and because there are so many out there we are looking for advice and thoughts from other parents. We are looking for a fairly lightweight, easy to use, durable single stroller. We have looked at Graco Vie4 and the Metrolite. Anyone have any advice on either of these or any others? I sincerely appreciate your help. We purchased an InStep before our son was born and simply don’t like it – way too bulky and big to travel with and store. Thank you!
* Kyleigh’s Momma – The Graco Metrolite was one I was looking at – how far up did the back raise? My son likes to sit up also but our current stroller didn’t raise all the way and he sat in it ok. I need one with a 5 pt harness for future infant and cupholders plus one that handles on grass, dirt paths. Thanks for your advice!

My Son is 22 pounds and he just turned 5 months old. We currently have a Graco car seat, the ones where you can take the entire car seat out and carry it with the rear facing base. He still fits in the car seat okay, but I was wondering if we need to look into bigger car seats? If so, which ones.

like does it have that thing to hook the seat to??

cause my sister is comming home and she wants to buy me a stroller,but the thing is she knew that she can’t take it with her on the plane, and if she puts it in cargo she will pay a fortune..

I am trying to decide if I need to get a separate bassinet, or a different pack n play that has a softer bassinet part. The bassinet did not feel very soft/comfortable in the graco pack n play (catalina). Also, if i do just get the Graco pack n play (catalina) Is there anyway to add some padding or something to make it softer.
