Okay so i started collage last week on wednesday, and by now all my old friends seem to have at least started to get to know some of the new people at collage; where as i have barley talked to anyone new, at high school I kind of f*#%* it up with all of the girls by being the ‘class clown’ and the one no one took seriously and i really dont want to make the same mistake again at collage. Its not that im insicure or anything as im actually pretty good looking, so i think. I always smell nice, nice breath, clothes etc.. Its just when ever it comes to sitting next to any girls i just dont know what to say, i just seem to be really awkwad.. As ive never even had a proper girl friend..So if someone could just give me some advice on what to do to get one, as i just seem to be getting more annoyed and feeling sadder as i keep seeing all my friends strolling over with their new lady friends. And im just stuck there.. Please dont just say sit next to them and spark a conversation because i guess thats what i strugle with… No talking to guy as such, just girls, i used to be pretty good around them but now im 16 (17 in 1 month) i just seem to see them in a different way like theres a barrier and im always trying hard (even though i never get anywhere)
Thanks and all suggestions and help will be valued.
x
Ps.. This is a UK collage , NOT the american style like in american pie and stuff
Only americans spell it college actually

Ok so I’m not expecting but was just at my friends house where they have one baby and toddlers, and for the life of me I could NOT lift any of the baby carriers! It hurt my back SO bad and I have shoulder and wrist problems as it is. Is anyone else not able to lift carriers? I know you can wear those slings (but I’m not a fan of how they look), how did you deal with that being a first time mom? I’m guessing I have to go to the gym LOL?

A little back story that might help shed light on this dream. About four years ago, I moved to Florida to take care of my mom who had cancer. It was a trying year and a half leading up to her death and it has been something that has been with me and emotionally scarred me. My mom and I were very close. After my mom died, I moved back to California (which is where I lived before she passed away). It’s been less than 3 years since she died.
Last night I dreamt that I was in California living with my mom. I knew I had to leave to go to Florida and care for her. In the dream, she wasn’t as sick as I remember. I was packing my stuff and then came to the realization that I didn’t want to move to Florida (I really do NOT like Florida. I was raised there and have terrible memories). I told my mom she should stay with me in California. We could share my two bedroom apartment. There were characters from my present life that are injected in the dream but I cannot recall the context. The dream is fuzzy and there are certain aspects that I recall clearly. My mom had been on “charity” at the cancer center in Florida. In my dream, getting her medical attention was a concern but I told her she could apply for MediCAL. I felt selfish for not wanting to move to Florida.
Then I’m in a car with my mom driving on the freeway. My mom is driving and she’s moving erratically. I asked her to pull over so I could stop. We were near LAX and I told her that it was dangerous. She wouldn’t pull over because she was afraid to. Next thing I know, it’s dark and we’re in a ghetto. I told my mom that it’s too late to pull over, we’re in the ghetto and we’ll probably get mugged if we stop. I told her to keep driving. Then a kid with his mother started screaming and my mom slowed down. The kid reached his arm through the driver’s window over my mom and grabbed me in the passenger seat. He wouldn’t let go. I told my mom to drive but she didn’t. I told the kid to let go. I screamed. I was scared and so was my mom.
I told him I would give him candy if he would let me go. My mom was sick and she needed to get home. He let me go and I threw some hard candy to him as we drove away.
That’s all I can remember. It has left me a mess today. I keep thinking of my mom and have cried on and off all day.
Does anyone with dream interpretation insight have a clue as to what this means from a psychological perspective?

I don’t really care how much it costs. I would like to be able to put my daughter on my back or in front and if she is in from I would like the option of having her face me or face away from me.
Thanks!

why would anyone think it’s okay to put a 4 year old on a motorcycle?
I am honestly astonished at the answers I got to that question. You guys really think it’s no big deal for a 4 year old child to ride on a 30 minute ride from his home to grandma’s house on the back of a bike? Ridiculous.

It was at 40 mph Head on with another car. The other cars airbags did go off, and they were going slower. I was driving an 05 civic it suffered moderate front end damage it’s not drivable. The crash was ruled thier fault in the police report and I’m wondering if I can sue. I believe when you pay for something, and it doesn’t work properly, especially for safety purposes. There should be some repercussions from the customer.

I have the Eddie Bauer 3 in 1 convertible car seat and I feel like I have been wrangling with it for weeks to get it to fit properly.
The problem is my car is 16 years old, it’s in great shape.. But it doesn’t have those little anchor hook things. So I use the seat belt instead per the instructions. I am just not able to get the seat in tight enough. No matter what I do it moves about like a drunken sailor.
Any tips?

I have the alpha omega elite and it goes up to 40 pounds with a harness. I would love to keep my daughter in a harness as long as I can… which car seat would you recommend to get next after she reaches 40 pounds? Hopefully the last I would need to buy? Assuming I wont get it until she’s almost 3… What car seat do you have your toddler in?

I have an evenflo comfort fold stroller and I want to know if there’s a car seat that will go with it, or if they made them to be not compatible with car seats.

When did you actually start taking him/her out like grocery shopping, friends, stores etc. Besides taking them out for the basic doctors appointment when did you start doing ‘regular’ going out activities with your newborn/infant?

Is the Graco SnugRide 30 infant seat compatible to the older SnugRide bases? The base is only a year or so old
