My son often sleeps in his stroller when we’re out so I don’t see why you couldn’t do it at home. We also have the FP Infant to Toddler Rocker that goes up to 40 lbs. If you buy this as a replacement look for it on sale as I paid double what is was at Walmart.
The other option is to just tough it out for a few days. If she naps well usually and sleeps in her crib at night it shouldn’t take long to develop a new routine. We do a shortened version of his bedtime routine for naps and he now sleeps in his crib unless we have to be out. I know what it’s like, my son slept in his swing during the night for nearly 2 months and longer still for naps.
What about her car seat or her swing? It’s the same type of shape…
Maybe it’s time to break the habit, It may seem like all she does is cry but in the long run it’d be easier on you. If not the car seat works a treat or a hammock, you buy them for toddlers fairly cheap these days.
What about maybe a little chair/hammock thing she can lie down on I’ve seen things like that in ikea
We have a great little rocking chair for my son. It has a "kick bar" type thing that you can flip up so that it doesn’t rock back and forth. It vibrates just like most bouncy chairs. It also has a detachable toy bar that goes over it if they are wanting to play. We use it currently to feed our 6 1/2 month old, but it’s shaped very similar to a bouncy chair.
Best part about it……. the weight limit is 45lbs….. so it’s meant to be used for infants, toddlers, and beyond. It’s made by Fisher Price and I think it cost about $30….. but that was worth it since hopefully our son will be able to use it for years instead of just a few months.
Hope that helps!
Enough is enough. Leave her in her crib until she falls asleep. That is all you can do. You are letting her get her way, she is a baby and should be sleeping in a crib. Bouncers are entertainers, not beds. Yes all kids nap in them here and there, but they are not safe for sleeping especially at 7 months. Once they are crawling they should not be in those. Put her in the crib or the pack n play. Leave her there and let her realize that is where she takes naps.
Try laying down with her and snuggling her to sleep, then transfer her to her crib.
