Baby safety in a truck?

I have an extended cab Ford Ranger. I was wondering is it safe to have the rearfacing seat in the front? Since it’s the only option I have. I know to turn off the airbag. Also my husband and I can’t afford a new vehical and I won’t drive his massive truck.

that is the purpose of having the airbag off switch. they’re found only in trucks because it is safer for your child to be upfront vs squished in the back.
You’re good as long as the air bag is off.
As long as it is a truck the kid can ride beside you legally. In a car you will get a ticket if caught. Load of crap ain’t it.
As long as the airbag is off, then it is fine. Just remember, NEVER PUT A BOOSTER SEAT IN THE FRONT! You can put a rearfacing in the front, but I knew a guy who’s son died because he was sitting in a booster seat in the front seat, even though the airbag was off.
