Where can I find someone to make custom, smurf, seat covers for my car?
I want smurf seat covers for my car, but I can’t find them anywhere. I can pay someone to make some for me, but I can’t find any businesses like that either.

My child still needs to be rear facing for a long while. She is too tall for her infant seat now. Need the best brands and models of convertible car seats.
I drive a car with not a lot of room in the back seat.
Alright, we have a Britax Decathlon, which has 3 slots for the crotch belt but you can’t use the third slot for rear facing. Once they are ‘sitting on the strap’ then you’re supposed to move the crotch belt, but that happened with my daughter at about 2 years old, so we moved her into the Graco My-Ride to keep her rear-facing. My son was going to ride in the Decathlon, he’s 10 months old, but already that crotch strap would have to be sat on (he’s about as thick as she is now…) I want him to rear-face as long as possible, and we are ready to buy another car seat to make sure of that, but I want one with a proper crotch strap.
Can anyone give any recommendations besides just getting another My-Ride? We had planned on trying a Radian XTSL but from what I’m reading their crotch straps are not that long either, and since there’s no place you can try them out I’m hesitant to get something that might not work.
Can you help me with this reading question?
The Road to Victory
I was never the likeliest candidate for this office. We didn’t start with much money or many endorsements. Our campaign was not hatched in the halls of Washington—it began in the backyards of Des Moines and the living rooms of Concord and the front porches of Charleston.
It was built by working men and women who dug into what little savings they had to give five dollars and ten dollars and twenty dollars to this cause. It grew strength from the young people who rejected the myth of their generation’s apathy; who left their homes and their families for jobs that offered little pay and less sleep; from the not-so-young people who braved the bitter cold and scorching heat to knock on the doors of perfect strangers; from the millions of Americans who volunteered, and organized, and proved that more than two centuries later, a government of the people, by the people, and for the people has not perished from this Earth.
This is your victory. I know you didn’t do this just to win an election, and I know you didn’t do it for me. You did it because you understand the enormity of the task that lies ahead. For even as we celebrate tonight, we know the challenges that tomorrow will bring are the greatest of our lifetime. Even as we stand here tonight, there are mothers and fathers who will lie awake after their children fall asleep and wonder how they’ll make the mortgage, or pay their doctor’s bills or save enough for college. There is new energy to harness and new jobs to be created; new schools to build and threats to meet and alliances to repair.

Which words in the last paragraph most likely describe America’s relationship with other countries?
That "overhead bar" anymore?? Please no rude or sarcastic remarks, 10 years ago when I transferred my daughter from her infant seat to a baby car seat all you seen in the store were car seats with the bar on them….I have a 5 month old and soon will be looking for a upright car seat and I liked the one my daughter had but I don’t see them anywhere anymore….????
My little boy is nearly 3 months old and supports his head really well. Recently he’s been wriggling alot when he’s in his car seat and he tries to look from side to side. I thought this might be because the head support is irritating him. At what age is it safe to remove the head support?
I have Convertible baby car seat in Pink.. I read the direction, its said 22lbs – 40lbs.. My daughter is 3 and I took her to doctor last March.. She’s 35 pounds.. I’m sure she’s 40 lbs now.. Don’t she need a booster now or when?
I know to slide the release and push the button. It just seems to be stuck I was wondering if there is something I am missing. I have opened and closed it a few times with no problems until tonight.
I have a Britax infant carrier that my child is out growing, 20 pounds it also a lot to carry in that thing. I have two Britax car-seats that my older son used that are only two years old. I have tried to use the convertible car seats backwards which I never did before my first son fit in the carrier for a year. I can not make them tight to the seat, I use the latch system and have called Britax and they are still able to push forward hardly any force. I tried a 2003 taurus(my car), 2004 Chevy cavalier(husbands) and a 2006 Jeep commander(winter car). I can’t get them to tighten down, any one have another brand that will or maybe a new Britax that fits?
I don’t think I worded it right… The car seats fit in so tight forward facing that when you shake it, it will move the car. When turned around I can no longer use a top latch, so I have only the bottom latch system to use. With the angle of the seat when you are just pulling the carseat down by the front of it with nothing to have the back aginst it will not stay. Is it tight yes.. you can’t move it side to side but if you push on the back which is normally aginst the seat of the car it rocks forward. Lets hope that you understand better, fyi my husband is a cop and in our state they are certified to install car seats, but thanks for trying to tell me I am stupid.
Okay Ford has no recommended latch point for the top latch chevy no recommendation and jeep same there, I already called all of them. And FYI again 2006 was the first model year for a commander. yikes. I had a 2005 dodge minivan like in the video and yes they come with a bottom latch points from the factory. I have no bottom latch points from the factory and I don’t much care for the rebound.
AS I said before he is they go to a class once a year. But, that’s all fine. I still can’t see how the rebounding is safe, just really makes me scared. I don’t see latching the top teather if the manufactures told me they had no safe point.
Maybe I am but these are my children. Can’t help it.
I have my 10 month old in a Graco Snugride (infant car seat) which he can use until he’s 22 lbs. He’s looking awfully uncomfortable in it already! I bought him a forward-facing car seat, the Britax Frontier 85, and LOVE the seat… except I didn’t realize it specifies the child has to be 25 lbs AND 2 years old. Now I don’t know what to do for that huge gap in the middle!!! Can I put my son in the forward facing seat when he hits 25 lbs. even though it says he needs to be 2 years old! I can’t afford to buy another seat for such a small amount of time, and I can’t keep him in the infant seat for much longer either. Please help. ![]()
My daughter is 23 months old. Her BRITAX car seat, which the woman at Babies’r'Us told me was a GREAT car seat, and I didn’t know otherwise because I was pregnant and never had a child before, has a weight limit of 40 pounds. This is a convertible car seat. Well now my daughter is 23 months and 36 pounds. She will clearly outgrow the weight limit in the next couple of months, but I’m SURE she still needs to be in a car seat, not booster. I’m so irritated and don’t want to buy a whole new car seat. Anyone have a suggestion? Why do they even make them go up to 40 pounds when babies can reach 40 pounds at around age 2. That seems crazy.
it is 40 lbs. I double checked. Rear facing for 5-35 lbs and forward facing for 20-40 lbs. I looked in the manual and on their website. It looks like most of their newer car seats have a weight limit of anywhere from 50-75 pounds which makes more sense.
I guess I’ll just have to pay an extra couple hundred bucks to buy another one with a higher weight limit once she reaches 40 pounds. So annoying!
When room is an issue? My son is 3 and just got too tall for rearfacing, his head was at the top of the shell, so we have him in a frontfacing Britax Roundabout in one car and Alpha Omega Safety first 3 in 1 in the other. Our daughter is still in the bucket but I’d like to switch her into a rearfacing convertible soon. I plan on keeping her rearfacing til she hits the height or weight limit as well, my kids will be in convertibles for a long time because they are tiny. So, I’ll need to new convertibles for each car. I know I’ll use the Britax Roundabout for my daughter in one car, because it is a good fit with limited space but would like a nice RF for the other that is maybe a little less pricey?
Also wondering what the safest seats are for front facing, and some good options again maybe a little less pricey than Britax-has anyone used the Evenflo Tribute or Safety First Air protect (the on that sells for 0?)
We have 2 midsize sedans(Camry and Sonata), so room is somewhat of an issue, it seems like the seat made for "compact" cars fits better than the larger ones even though they are mid size cars.
Any advice appreciated. Babies R us has a deal where you get off a car seat if you turn in an old one this month, so it seems like a good time to buy.
I dont mind using a swiveling stroller for the park and light hiking but a larger wheel would help greatly. Is there anyway I can modify the front wheel and have a 16 inch wheel on there? Any ideas on how?
