I am so confused.
I want to buy the Graco travel system that has a stroller/carrier/car seat attachment, so I can use it rear facing infant up to 20lbs. After that I need to get a car seat that is front facing for 20lbs and up. Are there car seat for that wieght that can also turn into a booster seat later on, or am I going to have to buy another booster seat too? (thats 3 seats in a kids life!)

My husband has been compalining recently about how much room the car seat takes up in his car, and today at the store he saw booster seats that have 5 point harnesses and look like a car seat really just not as bulky, now he wants one… i told him i would look into the safety of our son before he was alowed to get it.

our son is 15 months 30 lbs and im not sure on his hight i think its 29 inches

does anybody know about the difference between this kind of booster seat and a regular car seat as far as safety and are there laws about minnimum age in a booster

The seat belt on this stroller that I bought at a consignment sale is jammed. It’s one of those buckles that require you to squeeze the top and bottom as you are unbuckling it. Well the previous owner stuck the left-side buckle into the right-side opening upside down and it will not budge. The sides squeeze in, but the buckle will not come out. Any ideas?

I have such a big family(including some extended family) we all live together. when we all go places together like vacations or whereever, we take our bus. its just like a school bus. We have waist seatbelts. We have lots of kids of all ages(2-19).
What are the types of laws for family bus stuff like our situation?
We dont just stay in our state on our bus and i know the laws are different for each state but kind of general laws i would like.

Also what do the booster seats that dont have the buckle thing in the front do for you on a bus with no shoulder belts? i know they do something cuz my old bus driver did that for some kids.

My 1995 Ford explorer seat belt has not been locking once I place the belt into the buckle. Can I fix this easily?

I have been wondering why the driver and handicapped personal are the only ones with seat belts. Does everyone need a safety belt also? Is there some way to put seat belts in for all passengers to use? What happens in a accident? More people die from not having a seat belt on the bus. Am I the only one who noticed this flaw?

DS had a Britax marathon which allowed him to sit up higher and look over the front seats so that he didn’t get car sick as much. However, we had to give that his younger sibling. So we were given a Graco booster, which is nice except it doesn’t allow him to sit up high enough to see over the front of the car and he get gets car sick every time we go anywhere. Does anyone know if the Britax Frontier, or any other booster seats for that matter, sits as high as the marathon? He is 40 lbs, so he could, technically, use another marathon, but I would like to look at booster seats so that he use it until he is at least 8 y/o without being embarrassed by it. (With the marathon in the back as well, he doesn’t have room to sit in the middle).

I know we need an infant one and then I will need the next size up correct? Would that be considered a toddler seat? Then after that they go into a booster seat? I am so confused.
What is nice about the infant carriers is that they can be taken out of the car and put right on the stroller without waking the baby up by having to life them out of the car seat.
