My daughter is 38 lbs & 3 1/2 years old (big for her age). She is in a Britax Marathon right now, and her shoulders are right at the top strap, really close to going over. We have a Britax Parkway high-back booster ready for her when she grows out of the Marathon. She seems to fit in it really well (we haven’t tried it in the car, just had her sit in it) but I don’t know if it’s best to keep her in the car seat or the booster. I am afraid she is too big for the car seat, but am nervous about moving her to the booster. What is safest? I worry the car seat will not be strong enough to hold her in an accident (we bought it new in 2004). I’m going to talk with a fireman before switching but want to know what you all think. My daughter is 10 months and well over 20 lbs. we have to get her a new seat and are wondering whether we can go straight to a booster? There are booster seats that apparently go from 20lbs.
Also, what is the most functional (easy to install and easy to use) car seat?
A lot of the seats that are considered "booster seats", here in Canada, do have a 5 point harness. SO I’m not even sure what the difference is, other than the fact that most are not rearfacing.

Victim, his uncle 25 and a friend were also killed in this accident. My question is, the driver was pulled over 15 minutes before the accident for speeding, warned, and let go. Now the police are telling me the driver had no insurance. What can I do?

Ok my question is this. My son is almost 3 and is almost 34 lbs. I am getting ready to travel and am wondering when is it safe to take him from a car seat to a toddler booster seat? The car seat he has now is in my opioin is to smalle for him. Please help. I want to follow the law and make him safe and comfortable at the same time. thank you.

I currently have a booster seat, which I got used, but not a high chair. Do I need a high chair? What do all of you use?

My son is 27 months old, weighs 29.5lbs, and is approx. 35-36inches tall. Is he big enough for a booster seat yet, or should I keep him in his car seat for awhile longer?
