I purchased the Especially for Baby double headrest and there are no instructions! There are loops and velcro. I assumed the harness straps go through the loops, but I want to make sure so it’s safe. Also, what is the velcro for? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks so much!
hi - just wondering what you make of this.
today i collected my daughter, who just turned 2. when i knocked on the door i was let in. i was looking around for my daughter and the minder was quiet for a few seconds and then pointed on the floor.
My daughter was strapped into one of those bouncer chairs that babies are kept in. When i asked the girl why my daughter was strapped in to a babies chair i was told it was because her and a another boy (younger than her) were fighting and she bit him really hard - so she just put her there a few seconds before i knocked to tend to the little boy that was crying and to check if his hand was OK.
What do you think - seriously - i know my daughter was wrong bitting - but was it a bit extreme strapping her in like that so she couldnt move? Any child minder’s out there that think this is ok and normal, because now i am wondering if they do this all of the time with her.
So my toddler is potty trained and i had her use the potty and her hygiene didn’t go up and it won’t let me give her a bath so I am kinda confused? Do you people know?
I can’t figure out how to unhook it from the lil food tray thing. I’ve lost the directions!

We have a toddler car seat in my Ford Taurus. When we tried to install it in my husband’s 2001 F150, it was very unstable. We need to be able to have a car seat in both vehicles. HELP!
If so when…what are the years given on it from its manufactures date?

I am using PC alot at daily work, and my back hurts every an hour. I always imagine how great it will be if there’s a kind of chair I can lay my back down on it?
It will be even better if the chair goes withe a little movable LCD screen on the top of my head while I am lying down showing the data from my regular PC. That way I can still work while I enjoy a relaxation on my back.
I think it is a very efficient way of working in office, and good to ppl’s health. I will feel really sorry if nothing like this has been invented.
My daughter is 17 months old, and she’s recently started biting other kids when they get in arguments over toys. Twice now she’s broken the skin of other kids. The day care is extremely scared of liability, so they sent her home for this week, which is very difficult as my wife and I both work and have no family or back-up day care in this area. Now they’re willing to take her back, but if she bites like this again, they say their going to kick her out. So I have two questions:
1) Have you had this situation (the biting) and how did you resolve it?
2) Isn’t it a bit extreme to kick out a 17 MONTH OLD for a pretty normal behavior?
For a little more background, I have two older kids (7 and 9) who never went through this. In fact, they WERE bitten in day care when they were young, and no kid every got kicked out for it. Also, we have always had doubts about the toddler’s teacher and her ability to handle any kind of issue - this has really confirmed it.

FOr those who have zero experience with kids, your answers are not helpful. For those who think that a 17-month old biting is uncommon and bizarre, you’re completely wrong. Again, read up before you accuse someone of bad parenting.
ANYWAY, to give more details, the biting started with another kid biting her a few weeks back, and now she bites pretty much exclusively out of frustration, and specifically when another child tries to take something from her. She is the only child in her age group who talks, and that’s what she does at home to communicate with us. Since the other kids don’t respond to her words, she’s trying to make her point, especially when she’s being bullied. Hopefully that helps. At home, we really don’t have the opportunity to correct the problem since we use words
One more thing - I do feel terrible about this. My kids have been bitten before (hard!), so I understand how the other parents feel. But never once did it cross my mind that the other kids biting mine should be booted from day care. I knew it was a phase of exploration that kids go through, and I expected the child to get past that phase. I knew that my child might be bitten again, but I felt comfortable enough with that day care’s teachers to know that they would be monitoring things closely (and they were not bitten again afterward by the same child).
I just don’t feel that this day care is doing enough. They did the right thing by having her shadowed once, but afterward all I got was a report of how many times they thought she was trying to bite (that’s when they sent her home for a week).
I believe that the almost 00 a month I spend on this day care is for more than to watch my child - they are there to teach and care for her, too. And this should be included as part of that.

My neighbour just came banging on my door complaining about my 10mth old baby rocking in his rocking chair and the noise it makes (hes quite loud and i have floor boards). My neighbour told me that apart from the noise by me letting baby rock i could be causing him brain damage in the long term because of the constant shaking motion. Im very worried about this now as my son has been rocking himself in his bouncer since 3mths and now has a rocking chair that he kicks his feet of the coffee table and hes quite forceful in his rocking. Do i need to be worried? Can rocking have long term affects? Or is my neighbour just scaring me? Thanx from now for any answers
Summer is coming and I have read 2 stories of babys being left in cars already this las few weeks… Both babys died in the cars. How do you/or plan to remember your infant/toddler is in the car?
Hi, I work in an main office / reception and had a comfy but old chair. 3 months ago they changed all my furniture and the new chair matches the decoration but it is hurting my back really bad. (I am a tall girl). I have tried adjusting it or a cushion, nothing works. I want to go back to my old ugly chair that has more support for my back but dont know how to tell my boss (he is very cheap). I am having back pain every day that goes away during the weekends and comes back on monday afternoon. Please help!
