The ride from the strut/spring setup will suffer a little bit, most passengers won’t know the difference, you probably will. As a trade-off however, your town car will handle noticeably better with a reduction in body roll around corners. I’ve seen people have this done for around $450 or so.

i had leaky air bags on the rear of my 99 town car. i found some new air bags on ebay, it wasn’t too expensive. i had them installed at the local midas repair shop for about 100 bucks.
