Does anybody have the Peg Perego Si stroller?

I’m just wondering when I can stick my son in the stroller without the infant seat? The infant seat weighs SO much & I can’t wait to not have to use it for the stroller. I really don’t have time to sit & google it. Is there a website that I can look at that anyone knows of?

Ugh I’m kind of unhappy with it too & only went with it for the SIP. Oh well hopefully we won’t ever have to know if the SIP is needed.
Just so you know, I called the store where I bought it & they told me I could put him right in the stroller as it reclines enough! =]

I have this exact stroller. Although it’s super safe, it’s soooo heavy. I really am not happy with it. I realize now that unless you have to put the baby in the car sitting against one of the door, the side-impact steel beams are probably not necessary!!
I was told that as soon as baby can sit up on there own, they can sit in thestrollerr without the car seat. Since it has the 5 point harness I’m hoping to put my son in even a little sooner! Since the car seat reclines quite a bit, I have swaddled my son and just lied him in there while he was sleeping and strapped him in the best I could (mind you we were walking on a pretty flat surface- no offroading!
