I have this exact stroller. Although it's super safe, it's soooo heavy. I really am not happy with it. I realize now that unless you have to put the baby in the car sitting against one of the door, the side-impact steel beams are probably not necessary!!

I was told that as soon as baby can sit up on there own, they can sit in thestrollerr without the car seat. Since it has the 5 point harness I'm hoping to put my son in even a little sooner! Since the car seat reclines quite a bit, I have swaddled my son and just lied him in there while he was sleeping and strapped him in the best I could (mind you we were walking on a pretty flat surface- no offroading!
