I am thinking about purchasing this. Is it really the safest seat out there? And, it goes up to 65 lbs. Will my babies be able to use it up to 3 years of age? I don’t care about after that, we will be done with school and will actually have money then. We just need something really safe to last us through school.

Would you reccommend this?

Ok, I’ve always wondered this:
Why is it that when I’m in a sports car, and I slam on the gas from a stand still I get blasted back into my seat by the forward force, yet when I’m in an airplane, and as it accelerates down the runway, at a much faster acceleration rate and speed, I don’t get blasted back into my seat? I’m guessing it has to do with a pressurized cabin, or is it all in my head?
By plane I mean standard 747 passenger jet plane.

I am so confused.
I want to buy the Graco travel system that has a stroller/carrier/car seat attachment, so I can use it rear facing infant up to 20lbs. After that I need to get a car seat that is front facing for 20lbs and up. Are there car seat for that wieght that can also turn into a booster seat later on, or am I going to have to buy another booster seat too? (thats 3 seats in a kids life!)

Tomorrow i´m having a c-cection and we will finally see our baby…but i need to get this done tonight. I am a little stressed about this car seat.

Our son outgrew the length limit on his car seat at 3.5 months! We was far from the weight limit and it was a pain to take him places without a carrier before he could sit up! Are there many carseats with a height limit over 29"? Also, is it pretty easy to buy an extra base with most carseats for both my car and my husband’s?
We have a couple good convertible car seats already. I’m talking about when they’re 0-5 months and can not sit up. We don’t leave our baby in the carseat at home, but when we go to a restaurant, etc, and the baby is sleeping or we want to eat and not hold her, we’d like a carrier. And we both ARE tall and that’s probably why our son outgrew his carrier so quickly. So…I’m looking for an infant carseat carrier that goes beyond the 29" range.

Ok i know the middle is the safest for rear facing, but what about forward facing?
Thanks guys! I was just wondering cause when they are rear facing, in an accident they would fly into the back of the car seat. with forward facing , there is that open space between the driver and passenger seat so nothing really in front ohter than the windshield you know?

Im due January 4th and confused about where to have the newborn sleep. I have a baby safety class in 2 weeks, but am getting the babies room ready now so would like to know what I need ready.

I have a crib and a pack n play that has a basinette. I assembled the basinette and the hooded part kept coming un-velcroed. It’s dissapointing.

But anyways, where should the newborn sleep & for how long? When is it safe for baby to sleep in crib?
