Hi! Yeah – the My Ride 65 fits even tiny infants great – it is a great design. It should work just fine in the Ford Edge.

Seatbelt is just as safe as latch. Latch was just designed to make things easier. I would have no issues putting him in the center with a seatbelt. Do you know how to lock out your seatbelts? You basically pull them all the way out (slowly) and then you’ll hear them "click, click, click" as you let the belt retract – this is "locked" – and you can get a nice tight install that way.
