Horse transportation, Forward facing or rear facing, which is best?

I am hearing conflicting stories about the best way to transport horses in the right way.
Some say forward (the way nature intended horses to move).. or rear facing , so that the horse can ‘brace itself’ against heavy/emergency braking.
Studies are conflicting too, regarding stress levels.
Which way do you think is best?

I’ve never seen a horse been transported facing the rear….
The way my float is set up is for facing forwards and it works well… I like the ones that go diagonal and you just swing the gate accross, only because the horses walk up easier because they dont have to walk into a box…..
I want to get one of the horse floats with a camera in there, so when your driving you can see what they are all up too… and when you take the horses out you can make a porno in there!
Forward facing, i believe it is best
