Installation is a whole other topic. I would make an appointment with a certified carseat technician (www.seatcheck.org). As for the snap & go - If its the graco brand, then I don't believe there's much assembly. If its the baby trend version - you'll have to follow the directions for the specific carseat model you have. There is no real assembly of the carseat other then maybe attaching the hood.
