how do i clear a air bag light on a 98 Nissan Maxima?

My air bag light flashes and wont shut off is there a way i can clear it? i tried to take it to a shop but they really wouldn’t help me

you need to get the problem fixed as there is a bad air bag sensor and the air bag won’t inflate in case of a wreck when the light is on.
the cheapis whay to get it cleared is take it to your dealer and let them charge you for it and pay the price for the tool to clear the coad coast around 3000 to 3500 and i dont beleave you have the techical informastion or how to do the job your salf or the capital to by the tool good luck with your problem
