Any behaviour that your child sees can have an affect on how he perceives relationships in his future – you really need to speak to these people and impress upon them how much this is upsetting him – even if you stretch the truth a little and play on their guilt – ie: giving him nightmares, making him cry, etc. They need to know that they are potentially damaging him. If they MUST fall out – ask them to remove themselves from your son’s sphere of influence (ie leave the room). You might also make enquiries locally as to whether you qualify for assisted placements – our local authority funds our small folk for 2 and a half hours a day – Working Tax Credits can fund the rest – doesn’t hurt to ask?
