Your first baby’s crib is special & holds precious memories of very special times. Why not keep it for any future babies..It won’t take up too much space. When hes done with it just take it apart & store it in the garage. Toys & swings etc..can be sold, but you don’t want to have everything gone!! Especially the crib!!
well put the stuff in storage wats it gonna hurt then maybe later you can sell it
Well my daughter is 10 months old and i already had a yard sale and sold some of her things. She had a ton of clothes that she outgrew and it was only taking up space. I did keep some of her clothes holiday outfits and special things that i stored away. My husband wanted me to hold o to everything to but i don’t plan on having any children for some time and once i do i would like to go through the process of buying all new things. I really enjoyed that with my first daughter. I hope this helps.
My son is 3 and daughter is 10 months and we just had a yard sale getting rid of everything shes not using (extra crib, walker, playpens, changing table, clothes) It gave us the extra space for the things shes going to need later on, and the extra money to buy those things! Have a yard sale honey, like you said, you never know in 5 years whats going to be out! Good Luck!
Three years will fly by and those things are expensive. I would keep them. If you know someone who can use them in the meantime, you could always lend them out.
I kept everything… crib, changing table/ dresser, rocking chair/ glider, bassinet, swing, pack n’ play, bouncer, exersaucer, etc. Every time my youngest got ready for the next big thing and I went to pull it out of the attic, I was soooo glad I had decided to keep them.
Even clothes… I feel like I hit the jackpot every time I bring in the next size up.
As soon as she was done with whatever it was I cleaned it and packed it all up and took it to my parents to store. They have an extra garage and it is filled with bassinets, cribs, mattresses, boxes of clothing for boys and girls in all sizes, boxes are marked. They have toys, crib bedding, changing tables, diaper genies, you name it. This way when anyone in the family needs something rather than going out and spending far more on new we go there and find whatever it is we need.
