		<description>You could also use the blowup float that is used for above ground pools when putting the cover on.  It goes right in the middle of the pools and ties to the sides, keeping the water from collecting in the middle. see below link

		<description>Normally, poles with a snap end are used. Would an inflatable exercise ball (the kind you lay on and roll) work for you? It may shrink as it gets colder out and even leak air though.</description>

		<description>You have lots of good answers.  But if you really want to stick with your idea, how about a tow-able sport tube?  Put it on its side and inflate as needed to the right height.   I have several and they are about the right size for a typical 16-17 foot boat.  </description>
