		<description>A convertible seat will stay latched into the car.  It won't be taken in and out of the car with the baby, like an infant seat will.  The only car seat that will fit into a stroller is an infant seat, and it has to be the same brand.</description>

I liked using my infant seat until about 6 months for the convenience of being able to bring my sleeping infant in and out of the car in his (&#38; her) seat. We put our britax rear facing at 6 months with our daughter...and our son is not that old yet.  Either way I used the stroller, laying flat or reclined a bit.</description>
