Strollers for a Baby and A toddler which one would you buy?
Moms which one would you choose? It would be for a new baby and a toddler almost or at least 2 years old.
The MAIN features that i am looking for are
#1 Can fit into small places (like shopping)
#2 Is somewhat light and small when its folded.
#3 For both seats to recline and have sun shades
OR in your opinion should i just put the little baby in a sling and push the toddler around? I have a nice peg perego stroller that i just cannot get rid of anytime soon. I have this one:

any suggestions? what would you do? or buy and please tell why! Thanks!
Edit: also the stroller that I ALREADY own has a step bar in the back for an older kid to stand on but i just think she would be too young to stand on it…not sure though..?

You are so in the same boat I was when I had my second (the oldest was 21 months when my youngest was born). Anyway, I had my heart set on the Joovy Ultralight but my aunt got me the Graco (#2) as a surprise.
Here’s it’s pros…it will be perfect for the first few months as an almost two year old is still primarily in the stroller all the time, being able to use the car seat in and out for the infant is really nice, and you can cart around a lot of junk in it.
BUT, here are the cons…It is SUPER heavy, I struggle every time I put it in and out of my car, a small SUV, and it does take up the ENTIRE back of it. It is hard to turn with both kids in it and all that junk. Your older child is going to grow out of it mighty quick - my son is now 2.5 and he wants to walk almost everywhere, doing this with the super long double is a pain. That being said, if we’re out for a long period of time, he will still need a break and wants to sit.
I also have a Pliko P3, and my son loves the stand on bar, but it only works if your younger child is sitting up in the seat, not in the car seat in the seat or laying down, as that blocks the bar. If your prone to long outings, say the zoo or museums or even a couple hour trip to the mall, your older child, if he/she is anything like my son, will want to sit for awhile too. The Joovy would be PERFECT, it’s the sit and stand model (the older child has a large platform to stand on and a jump seat to sit on if they get tired or mom wants to strap them in), it only weighs 21 lbs and turns on a dime.
Soooo, long story short, I would totally recommend the Joovy. I’m still trying to convince my hubby to buy it but he’s strollered out.
Right Start carries them if you want to try in person.

dont get the side by side one you will be in the way all the time and that is just rude
I am going to say the graco one because i had one and absolutly loved it. It was easy to push and pile all my shopping bags underneath along with my diaper bag. I paid like 190 for mine at toys r us a few years ago and it was well worth it.
i think you should buy #2. it looks pretty tough and the ones where the seats are side by side might not do as well when shopping or trying to walk around. good luck!
I would suggest getting a sling or carrier because by the time your new little one out grows or gets too heavy to carry around, your toddler will probably be able to stand on the bar of your other stroller. This way you’re not paying out heaps of cash for another stroller. And the right stroller that fits all your wants and needs is always so hard to find!!
Anyways, just my suggestion on what i would probably do (this is what my sister in law did, or she would put the new baby in the pram and get or toddler to walk if it was a short trip.) Good luck though
The side by side stroller are very difficult to maneuver shopping.
If you could put the baby in the sling and the toddler in the stroller you have, I think that’s the best for now. However, if its cold by you, taking the baby from a warm carseat into a sling might be a pain.
I’d go for the middle one out of the choices you gave if the sling idea didn’t work.
I have a Graco double stroller and I absolutely hate it! It’s hard to open and close by myself and takes up the whole back of my large sized SUV (Trailblazer). Not to mention it’s heavy and only the back seat reclines flat, so whoever sits in the front has to sleep sitting up. And, forget a side by side - you’re lucky if you can fit them through most standard doorways, or into the narrow isles at stores. The one I was going to use at first was a jogger type, and I was thoroughly disappointed when I found out that the frame didn’t have individual supports for each seat so once the children started gaining weight they were constantly rolling towards the middle and pretty much rolling onto each other. The best one I’ve found so far that is completely worth the money is the Phil & Ted’s stroller. It’s revolutionary and although costly, is the best thing for two little ones since sliced bread in my opinion.
