suggestions for a britax? there are too many to compare?
roundabout, blvd, marathon, etc…i want a britax for sure, but i am so confused as to which one is the safest….i have a very petite little lady that is 4 mos old…so my ?s….anyone know which is the safest of the britax line? do you possibly have a link that explains which and why? is four mos too young for her to be comfortable in a convertible seat? i know they are rated for that weight, i just wonder about if she goes to sleep will her head flop? thanks for all your info in advance….

I have the Britax Decathlon and love it, if you go to Britax website you can pick some to compare and you can also put in your child’s measurements and it will show you ones that are appropriate:

I have roundabout, its smaller compare to the other britax, I have sedan, so I bought the roundabout.
For my hubby’s car, I bought the maxi cosi priori, the same price as roundabout, around $199, but I think maxi cosi has more padding, and my daughter who is 5 1/2 month likes it more, and it has 4 reclined position.
If your daughter already has a strong neck, I think it should be okay.
My daughter outgrow her infant car seat at 4 1/2 month old, she’s chubby and tall!
Good luck!
I have two petite children, and then my niece who is average, and they have all been in Roundabouts. My children now 4 1/2 were in the Roundabout until they were 4, my niece who is 23 months I am hoping will last that long!! The Roundabout is rear-facing until 35lbs and forward facing until 40lbs. All of them have been comfortable in the seat, all been able to sleep in it with no problems, also pretty easy to clean and install!!
the marathon goes to 65 lbs,and the roundabout and diplomat say compact and go up to 40 lbs only which is what i thought i would have to get bcause we have a truck w/back seat so the compact sounded like best fit, but the marathon fit the best,it accually fit! better n fact and with a 40 lb’er u will have to get a booster later, the 65 lb,er should b the last one u buy.
but i belive its the boulavard that has that true side impact (i know they all have SID)but it has this wrap around bolster that is supposed to be safer(if you can get any) but the lady @ baby usa said she had them returned cause baby or parent didnt like them either cause of obstruing or comfort..
consumer reports say #1diplomat and #3 marathon but they factor in prices and the marathon is higher. (they only list 4 seats so not much help)
other than size they have pretty much the same features.
