My daughter is going to be 3 months sunday. She can hold her head petty good. My husband and I are getting her a bouncer for christmas. She will be 4 months. I just want to know how soon did you put your infant in a bouncer.
Yes I mean jumper

Wasn’t exactly sure where to post this question so I posted it twice. I am pregnant with my 3rd child. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee in November. I can obviously not afford a new vehicle, and still owe quite a bit of money on this Jeep. I know i can fit the 3 car seats in the back seat of the Jeep, but it is very tight and I would like for my children to be comfortable while in the car. I have a daughter who will be 3 just a few weeks before this new one is due, a son who will be 2, 4 months after this one is due and his carseat is HUGE (i can sit in it if i wanted to). So I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get or IF I can get a small, but still safe toddler carseat or booster with 5-point harness that would give me more room in the vehicle.

Is this a sign of Autism/Aspergers?

I was babysitting my niece yesterday and we were walking around town and I said to her "look, that’s the same car that mummy has." She had "no, no it isn’t. Mummy’s car has a different pattern on the tires. And Mummy’s car has different colored seats." I hadn’t even noticed this…but when I looked, they were different.
She also managed to recall the entire shopping list easily and told my sister, in order, exactly what we did that day. She’s got an EXCELLENT photographic memory. She rrecognizespeople she has simply passed in the street months later.
Perhaps I’m over reacting, but alarm bells of Autism rang for me. Are these signs?
She is 3 years and 4 months old.

I am just curious…my son will be 28 months on August 1st and I just bought him a new booster seat today! Since he was 4 months old until now he has always used a high chair. Also what age do you think my son will outgrow the booster seat? The one I got him does have a 50lb weight limit on it and I believe right now he is between 30-35lbs (don’t know the exact weight as he hasn’t been to the doctors since he turned 2).

I am a new mom and I have an infant who is almost 4 months old. He is starting to wake in the middle of the night being hungry, should I start giving him cereal? I’m not getting any sleep just need some help or helping advice.

I always buy a seat for my daughter and now that she is 2 yr and 4 months I am glad to see she can use the adult seat belt (no more dragging a car seat through security and attaching it with difficulty to the airplane seat). That is according to the airline. but is it really safe? I know they sell some other attachments for small children, are they worth it, are they really safer than regular adult seat belt? Thanks
BTW I am not asking about surviving a crash: that is very unlikely to happen and probably wont make much difference.

I am more worried about TURBULENCE, and hitting her head to the cealing. Thanks.

I had a large rectal diastases that was discovered during a csection 4 months ago. The surgeon layered the muscles to encourage them to grow back together. I have been wearing a bjorn active front carrier with my baby in it (12lbs?) every morning and afternoon to pick up my daughter from school. My question is- could this cause abdominal separation? Will it re injure me? Thanks

Question about Convertible Car Seats…?

So my daughter is just shy of 4 months, and 17 lbs, and her car seat is only rated for up to 22 lbs. I have been looking at getting a Convertible Car Seat, since she is holding her head up really good now, but I was just wondering when everyone here switched from the infant seat, to a convertible seat.

My son is 4 months and is 16lbs. It wont be too long before he has outgrown his infant carrier. I know that I will have to start using the convertible car seat for the vehicle but what can I use when I take him grocery shopping. I mean he can’t sit up a lone in the cart and he has almost outgrown his carrier. What do you do in this situation? Thanks

paraniod for my baby girls safety?

Lately I’ve been really paranoid & worried for my baby girls safety (4 months old,my first). For example, we live near the volcano on the big island of hawaii & now I’m paranoid about it erupting & having visions of horrible things(this is just one of many thoughts I have). Or i worry about someone taking me away or someone taking her away & me not being able to care for her because of that. Its all kinda crazy & really bothering me. Is this maternal instinct or is something not right? Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks ahead of time. Feeling like this is horrible.

Infant car seat for a big baby!?

My son is 4 months old right now and he is 20lbs. He is not obese, he’s just a big boy. Anyway, his current car seat goes up to 22lbs so we are going to have to buy another car seat soon. The only problem is, all of the car seats I’ve seen have a rear-facing weight limit of 40lbs and at the rate he’s growing, he very well may hit 40lbs before he’s a year old. I know and agree with the current car seat standards that say babies have to be at least a year and 20lbs to move to a forward facing car seat. So I need a car seat that has a high rear facing weight limit so I can keep him rf as long as possible and at the very least up until his first birthday.

Thanks for your time.
