Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve looked at Graco, Peg Perego and chicco so far. We have more of a contemporary vibe so we’re looking for something cool but great for baby and an all-around fabulous high chair.
My baby is 5 months old. We need some support as well.
My daughter is 12.5 months and only 20 lbs. Her infant car seat holds up to 22lbs. I plan on keeping her in the infant carrier for a few more weeks until she pushes closer to 22lbs. I need to buy a new convertible seat that still can be rear facing. Which one should I buy? What has the best safety rating? I have some gift certificates from her birthday to Babies R’ Us plus a 15% off coupon so I guess I have to buy it from there. Any suggestions for one from that store?
I am 5 months pregnant with my first child and am wondering what kind of stroller to buy. I think that the combination strollers that come with a car seat seem like the most logical option but I am wondering what people think that actually have experience with them.
Does your baby wear shoes easily?!
Since the weather has begun to get colder I really wanted to find some cute fuzzy-lined boots or some sort of shoe for my daughter to wear. We have always just stuck socks on her feet and were sure to wrap the blanket around them int he car seat, but I felt like a bad mom when I saw all these little babies with cute boots and shoes on keeping their feeties warm!
So I bought some shoes from Target, Walmart and Old Navy and NONE of them will stay on her feet 
We had some NB size shoes when she was little that fit great, but these shoes that cover her feet completely slip off in no time. It’s so sad! She’s 5 months old and I think her fat ankles are the culprit. I know there’s no problem with warm socks, but gosh, this sucks.
Which one do you have?

I am looking for an infant carrier not one that your child is on the front but on the back of you like a backpack type one. If you can find one and post a link it would be very helpful.
My son is 5 months old and he is 16 pounds and I will use this from 8 months and up.
Our son is 5 months old, before he was born we had one given to us, it’s about 4 years old and kind of heavy and hard to get the "handle thing" to go up and down. I want to buy him a new one, a somewhat lighter one.
Just looking for ideas or if you have one that you really like. I dont want one of those 0 ones or anything though. I’m at work and Babies R Us website is blocked so I cant really look myself.

I"m just wondering because i heard the newborn (step 1) formula was good to give your baby forever and you don’t need to progress to the 6 month formula. I’m just wondering if its easier to digest or has more nutrients than the 6 month formula? I’m trying to get my daughter to sleep through the night as she is 6.5 months old and think this might be the problem.
I’m going to vacation with my 5 months old baby. I want to buy comfortable stroller that will be reversible to appropriate size to flights restriction and good for the future -at the other way.I prefer "expensive" brands. Could you help me find one?

My little one is 6.5 months old. She weighs 18lbs and is 26in long. When she hits 22lbs, I will have to retire her Graco travel system car seat and find a convertible seat. I’ve been checking out reviews and have read a lot about Britax convertible seats.
Which convertible car seat worked/works for you? When did you switch from infant car seats to convertible?
I’m anxious to see the responses. Moms know best!
I have experience with the infant car seat all-in-one stroller and I HATED the stroller. It was a nice stroller but once I was done with the baby seat (5 months) using the stroller portion was horrible. Here’s why: The handle bar was too low and it HURT my back. There was no cup holder for my son. It was very lite — thus not very sturdy. I liked that I had a cup holder though and I liked it when it when it carried the baby car seat. That whole package cost me about 5 (9 years ago).
So I bought another stroller. I liked: the snack/cup tray for my son; the "boot"/cover that kept him warm; it was reversible so it faced me or away from me; nice size storage bag underneath the seat; it layed flat like a bassinet; it was sturdy but didn’t fold down very small. I also disliked that it had no cup holder for me and the after-market ones were a joke. This cost me about 0 (8 years ago) and I had to purchase a toddler seat for about 0 (8 years ago). I also had a miserable umbrella stroller for short, quick needs.
In all I paid 0 for the whole traveling package for my son and we used the latter three products for about 4 years.
NOW I’m having another baby and have found a few options but can’t decide. I’ve included the links and would love opinions. Yes, they are a LOT of money so I’m taking my sweet ol’ time and searching eBay too. Thanks for your input:
Orbit comes with a baby seat for 0. Toddler seat is another 0 but it’s also a toddler car seat. You can get a lighter weight toddler seat for the stroller only & it is 0. The bassinet is 0 and it works as a bassinet in the house too. TOTAL: 20 (OUCH!)

We just bought the Britax Roundabout Convertible Carseat and are so disappointed. Our baby is only 9.5 months old so still needs to sit rear-facing. Problem is that she’s 30" long and we’re finding that her feet touch the backseat even in the recline position! The carseat is for up to 40" long so we can’t understand why this would be the case.
Anyone have experience with this problem? Shouldn’t the baby’s feet be far from touching the backseat when rear-facing?
I just got this Bumbo baby seat, which is awesome by the way, and my little guy is 5 months and he loves to sit in it because he has been trying to sit up for a while now. I thought he might like it if I put him in the tub with it because he loves the bath so much that the combination of the two would be a big hit.
Has anyone used the Bumbo in a tub before? I would feel better about trying or avoiding it if I heard from someone else who had.

My son just turned 5 months old, weighs almost 18 lbs, and I am shopping for a "big kid" car seat for him. I found one I love and it says it’s for kids 20 lbs.-100 lbs. or 1 yr and up. My son will be waaayyy over 20 lbs. when he is 1 yr old. So which is it? Does he have to stay in his infant car seat until he is 1 yr old or just until he is 20 lbs? I am confused…
My son is a very chubby little monster in other words too heavy to carry in a small seat. What is the weight limits on rear facing seats in Wisconsin? Or better yet what are the limits on a front safety seat.
ok these are good answers but I guess I need to be more to the point. He is 30 pounds and 5 months old… I cant fit him in the rear seat anymore Should I get the front facing one or the bigger rear one?
