I’ve just purchased a Honda Fit Sport and for some reason it says that the passenger Air Bag is not on when I turn the car on. I’ve looked in the owners manual and it says if there is someone sitting in the passenger seat that is 25lbs or more it will be on. But I’ve tried everything jumping on the seat having heavier people sit there, it keeps saying that its off. How do I turn it on or how do I fix this problem?

99 nissan maxima gle. both air bag and seat belt light blink, but i was able to get rid of blinking for the airbag light. so noe just the seat belt light keeps blinking. how do i get rid of it? thanks.

I just put a new seat belt in a 1998 toyota camry - belt cam from a 2001 camry but was identical part number.

Now air bag light flashes. I already tried disconnecting battery.

I need to change the ignition switch which I believe requires pulling the steering wheel. I do not want the air bag in the steering wheel to deploy thus the reason for my question.

i purchased a used car and it did have the safety check sticjer on the window saying that it passed the safety check. but when i got into a car accident on mother’s day this year , my air bag never deployed and my whole hood was crunched, my front headlight’s wole piece is broken along with my radiator and altenator. FACT: airbags are supposed to deploy at point of impact of 5 MPH. my accident happened on the freeway at around 60-70 MPH.

I recently bought a 2000 used Tacoma with an ignition switch to turn the passenger side air bag on or off. I tried the truck key to turn it on and it won’t budge from the off position. Do I need to take it to a Toyota dealer or is there a trick to it for turning it on?

We are not preggo yet, but my husband has a Ford Ranger Pickup. It’s one of those with the backseat that has the fold-down seats. Obviously we wouldn’t be placing a car seat in the backseat, but I’m concerned about front seat placement. Has anyone had this issue before? I hate to ask him to sell it, unless it’s unsafe for a child. I don’t think it would be safe. It does have a passenger side air bag cut off switch though..what do you think?

on the passenger side. we took the blown air bag off but now we are trying to find the actual module..
does the steering wheel and the passenger airbag have separate modules or do they share the same one located in the forward console area?
Is it necessary to change the module after both airbags have deployed?
