I might possibly be getting arrested for vadalism in my friends car. I melted an area on the air bag on the steering wheel and then I imprinted the end of the lighter into it. She says it a new York state law and that it has to be fixed because of safety factors but I’m wondering if she’s just bullshitting me Just to extort me.

This ’99 Civic was first listed as a Civic Si, now the ad had been changed to a DX. Also, the torque had changed. I called the guy and asked about the change to DX, and he said that it had a lot of Si parts, thus the confusion. He re-listed it with the correct information, he said.

Is this suspicious?

Here’s the ad if the link doesn’t work:

Honda crv windshield REPLACEMENT?

Need to REPLACE the windshield on a CRV which has safety air bags inside the front support posts on each side of the glass. Can a nondealer shop do this without danger of activating the air bags or causing safety problems with the airbag deployment should I have an accident. I don’t want to void any safety warranties on the air bags by not using a dealership if necessary, but I would prefer to use and windshield shop if possilbe. Anyone know if using a secondary shop can cause a problem with the air bag warranties on this type of repair.. Thanks.

I have a ’94 chevy van and the airbag light was on. We had the mechanic scan it and it came up with the code "Airbag 21". The diagnostic trouble codes I have found for chevy are things like "B0055", not with actual words like the one we have.

What does this mean?
come to think of it, I don’t know if the code is actually "Air bag 21", but that’s what the mechanic said.

I have disconnected battery cable to re set it , this did not help
it is still on .The air bag has never deployed. And I have had this car for 5 years and this started 3 weeks ago. Thanks for help, ML

I’ve got my Mum’s Commodore while my EH is getting work done, and since I’ve had it (a couple of months) the air-bag light has been on. It’s just a small red light near where the handbrake light etc. is. When I turn the car on, it beeps three times and the light pops up.

Why is it doing this?

i was thinking about doin lambo doors in the front and suicides in the back do you think that would look good or bad?

I bought an 2005 infinity g35 from an auction. I ran a car fax n it showed that it has been in an accident several times even one time the air bag was deployed. The vehicle has a clean title and everything seems to be ok with the car.
