I have a 1996 dodge truck. My husband went to turn on truck at 1 pm today and the air bag exploded. Mind you the truck has been parked since last night at 11:30 pm in a gated drive way. Could it have been the heat? At 1 pm it must of been above 100 degrees. I called the dealership to see if there was a recall and they told me no recalls for air bags or sensors.

My friend had an air bag deployment this morning and now they are out. One on the steering wheel and one by the glove box on a Honda.
Does he have to take it to the dealer to get them back in?

Are there any seat covers for cars that have air bags within the seat?
I want to cover my car seats at the front and back but all the covers I have seen say something like not suitable for seats with airbags in them etc.
why arent there any seat covers that can rip properly, allowing the air bag to perform its job?

I’m looking to buy a 1990 Mustang GT and one of the problems with it is that the air bag light is on all the time. The guy says he bought it that way and previous owner didnt know either. So what could be causing the light to stay on and is it a problem?

The vinyl air bag cover a rectangular piece of vinyl made to match the rest of the car is pealing off from the top of the front passenger side dashboard from extreme heat and sunlight (’03 Olds Alero). A mechanic from an oil change place recommended buying removable adhesive glue which will still make the air bag deploy in the event of a collision. Where can I purchase this type of glue? I tried Autozone but they only had permanent glues. Should I try a dealer or craft store?

Should a 1990 Honda Accord LX have an air bag? Also, I know that there were safety recalls fo the year for seat belt malfuncions, but how do I know if mine falls under that (Trying to see how safe my car ACTUALLY is..>)

Is it possible for a flat tire to cause air bags to explode?
ok heres more, it was the air bag suspension that blew.
These people are blameing us for making the air bags blow. We jacked up their car to change their flat tire.
Now we are getting smacked with a 0 dollar insurance claim.

I have an 05 Ford F150. My son damaged the front bumper, and I am going to replace it. Do I need to be concerned with the air bag sensor or can I just unbolt the bumper? Where is the sensor for the air bags? Thanks.

Children aren’t allowed to sit in the front seat of a car because of crashes. Although, what about the air bag? Is it because the energy the airbag has to cause an injury?
