It’s the only vehicle I own and purchasing a ‘family compact car’ is not in the question right now.
I just don’t think the sideways mounted seats in the cab are that safe. Correct me if I’m wrong though.
The middle seat & passenger seat in the front both supply anchors for the ‘anchor carseats’. I currently have the car seat in the middle in the front. Not the most comfortable fit but I figure the middle of the truck is the safest?
Thank you for your input.

_Just today this worker in the store came up to look at my baby while I was holding her- then she touched her hand -which I wanted to scream at her because my daughter puts her hands in her mouth -she’s only 2 &half months old – I didn’t know what to say to her without coming off all mean- so I tried to just get away casually -so I went to put my baby back in her carrier and the lady picked up her pacifier that was sitting in her carrier -though she didn’t touch the nipple part -I was still furious -I dont know her and she had no business doing that even if she was trying to help or be nice – I dont know if her hands were clean !!!!-so how do you other mother’s deal with such a person???? – as soon as I got away from her I took out a santizing wipe and wiped my daughters hand really good and then put her pacifier away till I could wash it -when I got home I couldn’t wait to give my baby a bath!!!!Help-whats the best way to deal with this?I need a sign that says LOOK but dont TOUCH!!

Is it true that with an infant car seat, the bar must be pushed back (not in the upright position) when driving? My friends husband just installed my Babys car seat for me –having her in about 9 daysss– and he told me that when the Baby is in the car, the bar needs to be pushed back level with the back of the car seat. I had no idea! He installed the car seat for me because he’s a firefighter, and could install it properly. Not that my boyfriend or I couldn’t have done it, but I feel a bit safer knowing that he did it
) Did you have your car seat installed by the fire / police department?
Thanks girls. I work at a bank (in the drive thru most of the time) and see so many car seats with the handles still up, as if they were just snapped in the car seat base and left. I also see wayy to many young children not in seat belts, on someones lap in the front seat.. aah it drives me nuts!
I just wanna make sure I do what’s right + safest. Thanks again!
I agree beary. That is why I decided to get my friends hubby to install it for me! He knows what he is doing & is certified through the fire department!
My boyfriend thinks Im silly for having it installed by my friends hubby. He thinks that we will be taking it in and out of the car because of passengers. I rarely ever have any passengers besides him or a friend or two & there is still room. If they don’t like it, they can drive seperate.. right?

Hey there. I was wondering about this. Now this is my very first time on a plane. So I was wondering how much things will cost. The delta airlines said that child restraints and sleep area (bassinet) are checked as free. So dose that mean My car sea and his pack and play are free? ( his pack &play is his bassinet its a 3 in one combo). than I was wondering if i can have liquids for under like ill be bringing the following.
Unopened cans for baby formula.
Shampoo & conditioner.
Baby wash
Bath gel soap.
Perfume.
Tooth paste.
Medicine for my son and for me.
as long as I put all these in a zip lockk bag that I will be using ass a checked bag for under?
and also how would i avoid the popping sound in ears for myself and my 4 month old son.
Thank you for who ever answers this,
By the way, I’m moving so hats why i have so much liquids. and I’m flying delta airlines

My daughter is 38 lbs & 3 1/2 years old (big for her age). She is in a Britax Marathon right now, and her shoulders are right at the top strap, really close to going over. We have a Britax Parkway high-back booster ready for her when she grows out of the Marathon. She seems to fit in it really well (we haven’t tried it in the car, just had her sit in it) but I don’t know if it’s best to keep her in the car seat or the booster. I am afraid she is too big for the car seat, but am nervous about moving her to the booster. What is safest? I worry the car seat will not be strong enough to hold her in an accident (we bought it new in 2004). I’m going to talk with a fireman before switching but want to know what you all think. Thank you!

Charianna 9.5 y/o: completely out of a stroller!
Danielle 8 y/o: completely out of stroller also!
Scarlett 6 y/o: completely out except 4 naps!
Anabella 4 y/o twin: same as Scarlett
Ansley 4 y/o twin: same as Anabella & Scarlet
Gabriella 2 y/o: still in stroller!
Kingston 10 months twin: still in stroller!
Kelsey Marie 10 months twin: still in stroller
Those are my kids names and ages. I push around a quad-stroller around right now! But I’m due to have a baby soon (about 2-3 months). I’m usually REALLY early. So I want to have as many out of diapers and strollers as possible! Is it wrong to let my daughters Scarlett and the twins still ride in strollers? They don’t always ride in them, just when they get tired.
i don’t baby them. it’s just when we have to go all day, especially during the summer, i can’t let them wander off and lay down on the floor and sleep.
most of the time all of them walk except the youngest 3

I called Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts & one other Auto Parts store, one told me they did not carry it. The other 2 told me I had to replace the Fuel Pump as well. As I am now Disabled, and can no longer do my own repairs, I figured I better ask someone else. It has been a while since I worked on a car, but I have never heard one where every time you replace the Filter you have to replace the Pump as well. Is the filter on most vehicles still located near the rear tire on the Driver’s side of the car just after or under the driver’s side rear seat? Why would they tell me to replace the Pump as well as the Filter? Is there a recall or something for the years 1997/98? Or are the parts counter people crazy. The information I gave them was: 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Larado 6 Cylinder 4.0 Liter, and I asked for a Fuel Filter. Please help. Thanks one and all in advance. Don
Okay, one last question. It use to start on the first try within 2 to 4 seconds, now I have to either turn it over for more than 8 to 10 seconds or turn the key forward so as that the pump will prime then turn it off again then crank it up. It will generally start a little faster after that. I have not had the Spark Plugs changed in at least 15 months, but then I don’t drive alot either. So does that sound like a clogged Filter, Plugs or what? Thanks again everyone for all and any input. Don

I have a toddler and a baby on the way. I am looking for either a sit & stand or the side by side stroller that would be compatible with my Evenflo Aura infant car seat. I have searched many websites and no luck. My infant car seat will be three years old.

Personal opinions please!
Britax?
Graco?
Cosco?
I know britax is supposely the best brand. It costs a pretty penny though. I am on a tight budget too. I am willing to buy one though, if it’s really the safest & most comfortable car seat on the market.
I’d like to know if any of you have any insight about the graco & cosco brands.
Thanks

I want to purchase a lightweight umbrella stroller. A major feature that distinguishes certain umbrella strollers seems to be the ability to recline.
Did you find that you used the reclining feature on your umbrella stroller? Is it unnecessary? I’m sure it’s nice to have, but is it a luxury that I & my baby could do without? I don’t want to spend money on a feature that I may hardly ever use.
Thanks.

I know how the dash comes out, i think (screws near the "hood" latch, 2 screws above the gauges, and then u pull the dash of the clip hooks).
With that said, wiring! Im mounting the amp to the box, and i will cut a hold where the trunk ends and the second row of seats starts, how do i get to the wire after i push it towards the floor. Someone said the black pieces that the door covers (door sill i think its called), come out when u give them a tug…is that how you acess the bottom of the truck (under the carpet)? From there im slicing the grommet and pushing the power wire through. RCA jacks is a different story, i have no idea how those will get to the headunit without taking out the headunit (which i have not installed yet) and pushing the wires into the back whil the headunit is out. Unless when i take off the dash there is a obvious place the RCA wires go.
As for the deck, someone said i need a antenna adapter to convert my old cables into my new decks recieving jacks?
