Or can I just use a folded blanket instead?
My son is 2 months old now but is a bigger baby. Is this insert for extra head support or is it just to fill in space for smaller babies?
Any advice appreciated from moms who have the Ergo (with or without this insert).
Thanks!

Misty, really? I know all about Mei Tais (or "mitiahs", as you call them). I don’t like them – at least not yet (I might like them more when my LO gets bigger). I also own a Moby and a ring sling…My question was about the Ergo specifically, so yeah…thanks.
Thanks for the answers so far ("Cherry" and "I’d Rather…"). Since my son is already 2 months old, I don’t want to spend an extra on an already really expensive carrier unless I really need to (The insert is only for infants 4-6 months old – I doubt he will need it past 4-5 months). Of course I won’t let his head bobble about – I just think that there might be something else I can use instead of this particular insert.

Our daughter is about to out grow the Bjorn and we want to continue carrying her for as long as possible.
Does anyone know of a front facing carrier for babies 21lbs and up?

I’m looking for a stroller that can hold a car seat and 12mo old baby at the same time. If you know of one, please let me know where I can buy one. All the double strollers I have seen hold the babies only and not a car seat like some single strollers do.

My baby is 12 weeks old and i am affraid to put him in maxi cosi because of his back that can be damaged, and i am still putting him on carrycot.
My baby maxi cosi is Chicco Synthesis, but i think is small for mu baby,is from 0 till 13 kg,my baby boy weighs 6 600,he was born big 4 380 kg.
Also i am affraid to put him in a bouncer the same for his back being damaged.
At what week or month should i put my baby in maxi cosi and how long should he stay there also in the bouncer?
How did you deal with your babies,at what month did you put your baby in maxi cosi (car seat)?

I am looking for a nice, but not totally expensive (say under 0) double stroller that will seat two babies with one side able to carry a baby carrier.
Note: I have a Graco stroller and baby carrier now, so it would be ideal if it could carry a Graco baby carrier (infant carseat) but it doesnt have to.
Do you have any suggestions?
Do you have a stroller you just love, what kind is it?
I think I prefer the kind that are front and back seated, not side by side. I see people trying to push those things around and they are so wide they don’t fit many places, do you have that problem if you have one of those?

We may be taking a business trip to Denver, Colorado this summer. If my son is born the week of his due date, he’ll be about 4 and a half months, but we all know how babies are!
So, what would I need to plan on him being able to and/or wanting "do"? Would he still be in his infant carrier?

I know that if the mother at birth or anytime during pregnancy is tested positive for drugs her child will be taken at birth. What are other things that the state will take your newborn for?
Edit: I’m talking about in general, why babies are taken away from their mothers.
I’m also wondering if they take anything in your past personal life into consideration when deciding whether or not to allow you to have your child. I don’t have the cleanest criminal background history, but I have nothing on my record of any child abuse or anything like that. Just things like wrecks, stealing, and drugs (and I don’t do drugs at all anymore or steal). And if they take age into consideration and if you’re single. I’m a single teenager so I’m afraid they won’t allow me to have my baby.

I would think you would have to for the babies’ safety, but it seems like a big chore if you lived in a big city and did it all.day.long.
Thank you satisfying my pointless curiosity.

What material should one look for for a newborn in terms of clothes and beanies, blankets, etc.
Is there any material in particular that irritates babies skin the least? And what materials should one stay away from?
Also, is organic clothing high quality and good to use on a newborn?

I am looking for a double stroller for 2 babies (the same age, so lets say twin) that is less than 28" wide when NOT folded up. I’d also like it to fold up flat and compact. It needs to be light weight yet good quality. Side-by sides are a plus but not necessary. I would like both children to be able to see though! Thanks in advance with any help you can give me!

I’ve been reading all the car safety information for babies and children and I’m kind of appalled at my own childhood now (lol). I don’t remember ever being in a booster seat, but I do remember always sticking the shoulder belt behind my back. I also recall sleeping in the cargo area of a station wagon on many a trip. The worst though was when we went to Mexico in a pickup truck with a camper shell and my cousins and I rode the whole way and back in the camper shell. The sliding back window was open on the truck so we weren’t cut off or anything but it was still incredibly unsafe.

I have been looking everywhere! Amazon.com does not have it on stock nor does target or bed bath and beyond. I need this stroller asap and I only want it in fuego which is red and gray. My price limit is 150.00 dollars. I have tries babies r us as well. My zipcode is 08053 so I’m willing to travel as well. I’m going up to deleware so that area is fine as well. Thank you so much.

I have a 2 door Chevy Cobalt. I went to Babies R Us looking for a travel system stroller. The stroller when folded up would not fit in my trunk due to the fact that the trunk opening is only 12×35 inches or so. Ideally I would like a lighweight stroller that still allows you to put the carseat on it. So I’m not interested in a cheap umbrella stroller. I need something supportive enough for a newborn and something that grows with my newborn.

I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and finishing up my shopping for baby. I want to get him 2 pair of newborn pants, 2 pair newborn shorts and like a 5 pack of newborn onesies but my husband and I have been arguing about this because he claims newborns don’t wear the newborn size they start wearing 0-3 months right when they come out! I personally think he’s wrong so I’m just wondering how many people had babies in newborn size and how long was your baby in newborn size?

He is 18.8 lbs and 28 inches. Went to look at carseats cause we knew he would outgrow it soon and ended up coming home empty handed, unhappy with the selection at babies-r-us, only to find out his infant seat only goes up to 26" (not 29" like others). Need advice. I would like to have one of the ones that turn sideways allowing you to put the child in easier, but the Zeus by Combi is only rear facing up to 22 lbs, not sure if that will accomidate him long enough. Have also looked at the Orbit toddler seat that has the turn feature. Don’t want to spend too much!
