i currently own a 2 seat convertible and im now 6 months pregnant, i know the laws on babies using the baby car seat and know they are ok up to 3 years in the front, but will she be ok (as long as i purchase the correct seat for her) to continue to travel in the front with me when she is older? as i heard somewhere once they are over 3 they must travel in the back?

Hi, my baby is nearly five months old and 20 pounds. He is a very long baby. He has nearly out grown his Jane Strata car seat. I know that he can’t go in a forward facing car seat untill he is at least 1 year old. Can anyone recommend a rear facing baby car seat for the bigger baby? Thanks.
Thanks for your answers but I am in the UK. Does anyone know of one I can buy here. Thanks

It needs to be big enough for our gear and a baby car seat. I figure if we rent might as well get the best gas milage we can also. Does it make sence any tips? I have a dodge stratus honestly not the best gas milage

I have a 2 year old and am expecting baby #2 in July. I don’t know much about double strollers, I know there are the side by side ones and the tandem where there is one seat behind the other. What would you suggest for the ages of my children? I am looking for something that isn’t too expensive. Also, I have heard that some strollers only take baby car seat carriers of the same make (ie Graco) I have an Evenflo infant car seat so I need something that would hold that.

i have nothing but good reviews on the Graco – MyRIDE 65 Convertible Baby Car Seat. here is a list of the best sellers at walmart. this car seat is number 1 but i would get the purple one. my daughter is a little more than 18 lbs and about 27inches and 10 months old were looking into the next car seat. she infant car seat is in the middle seat of our 4door cavilier so its a small car and i would like to put her new car seat in the middle as well depending on how tall this car seat is. i am planning on having her face backwards for as long as its reccomended by the seat which its up to 40 lbs. would this be considered a 2nd stage or 3rd stage? also how does the price affect the car seat like there are ones are those really safe any advice
http://www.walmart.com/browse/Car-Seats/_/N-2rqvZ1yzpl0eZaq90Zaqce/Ne-aqwk?tab_value=All&tc=20&ref=125863.129271+501428.4292612510&search_sort=5&selected_items=+&catNavId=91365
the question on the prices is kind of wondering are the expensive ones just way more safer than the cheap ones? i may buy off brand items but when it comes to a car seat or somthing that is protecting my childs life i am willing to spend whatever

My son has always been sitting with someone or the other in the back seat of the car and has never really sat in a car seat. Now that I have to take him to and back from his nursery regularly, I want to use the baby car seat. But, I am sure that my son is not going to like it and is going to resist it as he prefers sitting by himself! Wat can I do to get him used to the Baby Car Seat??

State which:
1. Fasten seat belts.
2. Have a baby car seat for baby.
3. Wear headset for mobile
4. Abide by the speed limits.
5. Check maintainance of care like tyres etc..
6. Have a fire extinquisher and first aid box
State which one you should take more care of.
