I tried out at babies r us the baby trend sit and stand double stroller- sonic with my 2 kids and LOVE it! However, i was sort of interested in a different color, and found a silver and red sit and stand plus at Target- for about less. However, I’m not sure it’s the same stroller, it looks smaller and it doesn’t look like the 2 seats are different heights like the one i tried has. Does anyone know specific differences between these 2 types of Baby Trend strollers if there are any? Thanks!

I have been researching double strollers for hours. When my baby is born in March, my son will be 2 1/2 years old. I think he’ll be in a transitional period and still be sitting in a stroller but close to sitting/standing in a sit n stand, so I really wanted to get a combo. I saw a One Step Ahead brand and a Baby Trend brand, and saw enough bad reviews about both that I don’t really want either. I was wondering if you know of any other good combo strollers I can look into?
thanks for the feedback hbear! I’ll give it a second look :)

For parents with a (or had a) young toddler and a new baby, can you tell me what you’d recommend as far as a stroller goes? I’ve been looking at two.

The first is the Baby Trend Sit and Stand double stroller. It’s a typical in-line double stroller, and the rear seat comes off when the toddler is older so they can just sit on the platform or stand on their own. It comes as a travel system. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=4279629&prodFindSrc=search

Or should I get a jogging stroller? I was looking at one of the Phil & Ted Explorer Buggy strollers where you buy a double kit, and it becomes a double in-line stroller. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=4452629&prodFindSrc=search This one can carry different brands of infant car seats to make it a travel system.

I guess my problem is that I have two Evenflo infant seats and neither of them are going to be any good to me once this new baby comes, if I want a double stroller.

So…in saying all of that, do you think I’d be better off with option #1, where it comes as a travel system and I don’t have to purchase another car seat separately, option #2, where I’d have to additionally buy the conversion kit plus another new car seat, or my 3rd option: to just use the stroller that I have (that is also Evenflo and I can use the seats I already have, too, and let my toddler walk everywhere?

What worked best for your family? Did you find your toddler did well without a stroller? Carson is really good in stores…we don’t use a stroller for her at this point, and I just hold her hand or let her walk a little ways in front of me. But with a new baby I can see that becoming very difficult to do.
It’s just me: No, not all car seats ARE interchangeable. I tried my evenflo on the Baby Trend Sit and Stand. It doesn’t click to latch it on securely. So in that case, it ONLY fits THEIR brand. The Phil and Ted jogging stroller fits Graco, Maxi Cosi, and Peg Perego. Not Evenflo (I have also tried this).

Trust me, I would not have asked this if it weren’t a VALID question, so don’t act like answering it was a complete waste of your time.
Response to It’s Just Me: Listen, I have been in contact with the company, both Evenflo for my car seats and the companies that sell the strollers. Yes, Phil & Ted’s DO sell a conversion kit for the car seats I’ve listed, you’re right. But they do not have one for Evenflo seats. Likewise, as far as the other stroller (the travel system) goes, there IS no conversion kit available. I’ve spoken with them. I’ve tried it in the store with my car seat. It’s a no go. So before you go off saying "Oh la la la, they all fit, I must know what I’m talking about"…take a moment and actually LISTEN to what I am saying. I have done my research, I’ve tested and tried. Evenflo is one of those brands that not many stroller companies support. So yes, I totally want to go out looking for an excuse to spend between 0-0. That was the exact point of my question (sarcasm).

Double Baby Strollers?

I am looking to buy a double stand n sit stroller. I looked into Baby Trend and found one I like but after contacting the company, they said their double strollers do not accommodate other baby carriers other than their own. I have an Evenflo baby carrier and they said it will not fit. Does anyone know of another brand double stroller that will fit an Evenflo baby carrier. Evenflo does not offer double strollers. Thank you
Thanks for your suggestion Katerina, those strollers look very nice but a little out of my price range. I am looking for something under 0. But I guess if I can’t find one that will accommodate my carrier, I would end up having to buy a new carrier anyway and spending a lot of money. This stroller is something to keep in mind though. Thanks

graco infant car seat compatibility with stroller?

I have graco "snugride" infant car seat. Do I have to buy graco brand stroller to fit this infant seat to stroller?

For example,
I am considering
1. Graco Vie4 Stroller
2. Graco Quattro Deluxe
3. Jeep Liberty Limited 3 Wheel All Terrain Stroller
4. Baby Trend velocity jogger stroller

Will I have compatibility issues????

I have 1 baby trend carseat and am having twins and would like to buy another babytrend carseat. I know there is a double snap and go made by babytrend, but I would like a stroller that will also grow with the twins and not one that will just work when they are in their carriers. Is there a stroller out there that will universally hold any brand of 2 carseats?

Which is supposed to be safer? Any other reasons to go for one over the other? (aside from price)
Thanks for the answers! I will not be getting the Chicco stroller, I am planning on getting the Baby Trend Sit and Stand stroller since I also have a 2 year old.

Stroller for a 2 and 3 year old?

I hate the double strollers that have two tandem seats, and I have never used a double side by side stroller but I really don’t like them either lol. The only thing I can think of would be one of the Sit and Stand strollers. I have been reading reviews on these for literally months, I’m not even kidding…. my husband says the boys are gonna be driving their own cars before I make a decision. I really like the 2010 Joovy Ultralight Caboose (except for the price) and my other option is the Baby Trend. I already know the differences in them, pros and cons. My only hold up is the fact that they seem to be more towards a toddler and a baby. I have a 2 and 3 1/2 year old, and they both weigh about the same. I’m concerned that the Joovy wont last long as far as my youngest fitting in the front seat. I don’t have any way to see these strollers in person, so I’m hoping that someone here has one. I have read so many reviews that say the Joovy front seat is short and may not be big enough for a "toddler" and that the footrest is also short so his legs would be dangling. Looking at pictures I can see what they mean. But the Baby Trend looks to be so long, it seems like it will be a pain to push, almost the same as the normal double tandem. Also, I don’t have a minivan or SUV so it has to fit in my Elantra trunk. I also thought about just saying screw it and getting 2 umbrella strollers, but my oldest doesn’t always like to be in a stroller and wont always listen when I tell him to stay with me. Ugh. Anyone have some good advise about this for me? Really I just need to know if these strollers are good for 2 toddlers. Sorry about the long question….
Oh yes! I was looking into getting a wagon at first, because I know my boys would love it…. but I know it wont fit in the trunk of my car :o (

My daughter will be 2 years 7 months when baby # 2 arrives. My husband has started running and really enjoys it. I like to walk at a decent pace, which means we are going to need a jogging stroller. I have looked at the Baby Trend in Babiesrus…and then read some awful reviews. I also have seen the B.O.B ones for like SIX HUNDRED $$$$…too much for us. Does anyone have any advice??

Does anyone know if it’s only Baby Trend infant carrier car seats or if they accommodate other brands as well? Thanks

We have the graco snug glider swing that holds a graco carseat, but we didnt want to buy another graco seat this time around I was wondering if anyone has tried putting another carseat in this swing. We want to buy the baby trend carseat. If you know of any other brands besides graco that fit please let me know thanks

This may sound like a silly question, but I JUST put together my new Baby Trend travel system (stroller, infant seat/carrier) and everything seems to work smoothly and go nicely together, but I am missing something about putting the carrier in the stroller. It fits nicely but doesn’t seem to latch in or anything. With all the straps, safety features, and warning labels on the system, it doesn’t seem this one could be missing– when you put the carrier in the stroller, the back end rests on the child’s tray– is there something that locks it in there? The carrier tips pretty easily, and I can absolutely see a bad tumble situation there. Thanks in advance!

Need Advice From Moms Please?

Trying to decide what stroller/ travel system etc. to get. My in laws live on a ranch, so my husband insists we need a heavy duty jogger stroller that does NOT have plastic wheels. Though I have heard in the country the real tires can be a pain going flat all of the time.
But what I would like to know- your opinion is how necessary is a travel system?
Should I get JUST a car seat (carrier) and a jogging stroller and NOT the regular stroller that would be compatible with holding the car seat carrier? Or would you DEFINITELY get the travel system and maybe get the jogging stroller later if at all?
I just don’t want to get two things when one might possibly serve the purpose for both.
I DID see a travel system/jogger stroller by Baby Trend, but it had low reviews.
Thoughts or Advice Appreciated

or the baby trend snap n go.. neither one specifies- they just say that they fit all major brands but as far as i know safety 1st is fairly new?? does anyone have this combo?
