I bought a 1969 Chevelle and it has only a lap belt buckle in the back which won’t work with my car seats. I need a car seat that will give my chidren safety of a shoulder strap or 5-pt system to be able to transport them in it. Basically what I needis a built in shoulder strap so I can bring the kids with.

Can I still use a recall on a used car?

I am the second owner of a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6. It turns out there was a recall in 2003 for faulty seat belt buckle sensors causing the airbag light to illuminate. The previous owner had not taken action to get this fixed because he hadn’t experienced the problem. Now I am experiencing the problem so can I still take it to Hyundai to get it fixed… and will it be free?

I tried to install a second child seat in our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee over the weekend. Believe it or not, the manual says to install the second one in the front seat, as there is a special adapter on the seat belt buckle that keeps it tight. Obviously, this isn’t acceptable these days – can’t put a car seat in the front seat.

Have any of you had this problem? What did you do? The back seat belts do not have this adapter, and do not "cinch (spelling?)".

How do you remove a seat belt on a 93 ford ranger?

My driver side seat belt buckle broke and the belt won’t latch. I got a brand new seat belt for the truck, but I have no clue how to get to the retractable part of the belt. I have the T-50 to take out the bolts for the buckle and the top mount so that is not my problem. How would I get to the retractor part of the belt?

Should I move my 2 year old to a booster seat?

He’s roughly 36 lbs and a little over 3 ft and he’s recently learned how to unbuckle the chest buckle in his car seat. And when he wears a bulky coat he can barely fit in there. However he occasionaly undoes the seat belt buckle that straps the car seat to the car (just to annoy me), he knows its not safe to unbuckle when the car’s movin. His brother (3 1/2) went into a booster at 3 (they’re about the same size). Would it be ok to have a 2 year old in one?
