We are in the market for a rear-facing convertible car seat for our 7- month old. Do you have one you hate or love? Recomendations?
We are leaning towards the Evenflo Triumph DLX or a Britax, but sheesh, the Britax’s are spendy. If you own one, do you think it was worth the money? She will be in it for awhile, we are looking for one that is rear-facing/forward- facing and will get us to the booster stage.
Thank you!!

I don’t know the year yet, we’re assuming 2001-2005 about, but my in-laws have gotten a PT cruiser for us. We’ll have to go and pick it up, but I’m wondering whether others have driven this car and what their experience is with rear-facing car-seats in it. We have a Britax and a Graco-My Ride (one in each of our cars for my daughter), as well as a Graco Snugride 35 (for my son for the time being until he’s ready for a convertible.) I most certainly don’t want to turn my daughter around, and I worry about space in the car. My husband and I both have long legs so pushing the seats forward has been a nightmare in the cars we’ve ridden in (a Plymouth Reliant and a Dodge Spirit.)
Does anyone have any experiences with the PT cruiser and car seats? Especially rear-facing?

I need a spare anyways, and my britax is just too much to lug around all the time. I need something for an airplane, and I guess we are taking a bus from there to disney? I’m not entirely sure. I need the best combination of portability and safety. Thanks in advance.

I know people would use 2nd stage carseats for a while so may be tatty anyway but are they safe if used and a few years old. £150 ish for a new Britax or similar so is it a risk buying 2nd hand or not?

Anyone had/have a Fisher Price Safe Voyage car seat?? or a Britax?? I need a rear and foward facing. I have a very small car. Which one would you recommend?? Are they both the same, just different brands?? I want a car seat that will work until he’s ready for a booster, any suggestions???
On an average, what age are they when they are 40 lbs., most car seats go to 40 lbs., too me that seems young to put in a booster, but I could be wrong. Whats the average age of a 40 lbs child??? Thanks again!!

I want to buy a Britax. I am looking at the Marathon right now. I heard they are big but I drive an SUV (not a big one, a smaller one) but it should be ok. I hope! But.. I might be travelling by airplane and I heard the marathon is too big for airline seats and the roundabout is better. I really want the marathon though. Help, any advice or opinions, recent experiences, welcome!
Also, I’m trying to buy online. Which fabric is nicest in person? I am looking at the cow print and the crocodile. I like the onyx but feel its too dark for the hot weather.

It says that is made by Britax and fisher price, I was wondering, I can’t find any customer reviews on it, has anyone out there used it, and is it user friendly? What are the pros and cons of it? I will be using it rear facing for at least 4 more months, and then forward, as my son is 8 months old, and 22 pounds.
I drive an expedition, I don’t know if it will fit correctly in my car, since it isn’t latch equipped. I want a car seat that I can properly install every time, and not have to worry about the safety of my son.

Sorry for the obvious question, I just want to be 100% sure before I carry it around and get on the plane. It’s a Britax, and the website says "certified for airplane travel". That means it can go on the airplane cabin, IN a proper airplane seat, buckled in, is that right?? So we can take my 3 y/o’s car seat and he can sit it in on the plane?
Thanks!!

I am researching car seats for my daughter and I am a little overwhelmed. I like the Graco Nautilus 3 in 1, the Britax Roundabout, Graco My Ride 65, First years true fit and the Evenflo Titan Elite. If anyone has any suggestions I would grealty appreciate it! My daughter will be a year next week and weighs about 21lbs. ( We do tend to travel a bit so comfort is always best!)

I have finalized the above two car seats for my 14 month twins. I am getting great deals on both car seats. Much cheaper than the advertised prices. I am more inclined towards the Britax because of its safety features but still the price of Alpha Omega at BJ’s is . It is very hard to beat this offer. The alpha omega looked pretty decent as well. Please check the links below to the car seats and if you have owned these car seats please lend me you advise.

I have a small Ford and I am interested in buying the new Britax Advocate 70 cs.
I am worried it is too big for my car.
1. Does anyone have any feedback about putting the Advocate in a small car?
2. What other good car seats are you using in small cars?
Thank you
