My baby is 4 1/2 months old. He doesn’t sit up by himself yet and has just about out grown his infant car seat carrier. When I go shopping, I have always just kept him in the carrier. So now where do I put him when I buy a regular car seat? Lol…hope this doesn’t sound stupid!

I’m looking at a 2001 Dodge Dakota Club Cab and was wondering if an infant car seat fits in the back seat. I don’t have a child now but more than likely have one with in a year or two and wanted to know if a car seat would fit before I went out and purchased this truck.
Thanks

I have a 21 month old and a 2 week old, I would love to find a double stroller for these two little ones! I’d REALLY like to know if there’s a jogging stroller that will accommodate an infant car seat.

Help! I need advice on how baby car seats work. As I understand it…..first there is a travel system – infant seat up to 22 pounds that attaches right to a stroller, comes with a base, and I could buy a second base for Jim’s car; later I would buy a convertible car seat, with another second base for Jim’s car. Then there is an infant car seat, which seems just like the former, but I would need to purchase a separate stroller. Third there is a convertible car seat system, which goes to over 50 pounds, and I would need a second base. It seems that I could actually get the convertible car seat to begin with because it starts at 5 pounds (is this true?) but the disadvantage would be having to lift Avery in and out of her seat into a separate stroller even as an infant, unlike the travel system. Which systems have other parents used? Advantages and disadvantages to the system you picked? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looking for an infant car seat (the kind with a base that will stay in the car and a removable infant carrier) that will work in our 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. We have done a lot of research with absolutely no legitimate answers, only people stating "this should work" and "try this seat it’s small," so please do not bother answering this question unless you have an answer based on actual experience such as owning this car and having a car seat that works in it. We do NOT want a convertible car seat, I need a seat that I can lift out of the car and carry around with my baby sleeping in it being that I have a 2 year old’s car seat (The Britax Marathon) already installed on one side of the Eclipse so I need to be able to have the carrier I can remove as needed. Anyone that has this car knows that the back seats dip down in the center which so far has made it impossible to find a base that will work back there without sliding all over the place. Every seat we have tried so far will not work. Also there is no latch so it has to be a seat that will work using belts only. We do not have the time or money to keep buying seats that don’t work and the new baby will be here in a few short months. Again, please only answer this question if you have a definite answer of what WILL work (not what might work or what could possibly work but only what WILL work) based on your own personal use or if you have a friend or family member with this car who has an infant seat installed rear facing.
Thank you in advance for your help
Once again- size is not the main issue- the main problem is that the seats DIP IN in the center therefore a care seat base that is straight on the bottom does not fit flat on the seat which causes it to slide around. If you have this car please let us know which seat you use- not an answer based on size of a seat. Thank you

I have the Graco travel system, where the infant car seat locks into the stroller, but the stroller is also useable without the infant car seat (baby straps directly into stroller).
How big do you think the baby must be to sit in the stroller without the car seat? My son is 4 mos, 17.5 lbs and holds his head VERY well, and can sit supported but can not sit on his own.

My daughter is 8 months.
So I am starting to look into the next car seat. I know she still has awhile but I like to try and figure things out in advance.
Right now she has a Chicco KeyFit Cortina Infant car seat we got the car seat and stroller combo thing.
Anyway do you have any suggestions? Like what do you have do you like it do you feel as though it is safe?
She is a girl.
Safety is our biggest concern.
Our budget for the next car seat is 0.00 dollars I mean it is an investment since she will be using it for years.
Any links would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

my mom used them for my brother and i when we were infants, she showed me pictures and they look just like an infant car seat with a handle, only they are less bulky and they aren’t actually car seats. she called them a baby carrier but on every website, all they have are slings etc. under ‘carrier.’
i can’t seem to find any, and no i don’t want anything like the hard plastic booster seats or the cushy baby loungers, just a normal seat, and not a bouncer or rocker either.
can anyone help me out please?
thanks so much for any help!!

I am looking for a double stroller but want some suggestions on ones any of you like. I do not like the side by side strollers or the ones with one baby directly over the other baby. We have a Chevy Malibu so i need one that collapses well enough to fit in the trunk. Also I will be using the double stroller for my 13month old and newborn and I prefer on that fits a infant car seat. Thank you all for any and all suggestions

Hi, I need to know if anyone out there has a jeep wrangler that has had to use a car seat.
I need to buy the next car seat for my baby, she will soon be 6 months and outgrowing her infant car seat. I have a four door jeep wrangler and it’s a tight fit between the backseat and front seat.
Just wondering what car seats would work nice.
Also, do you know if stores let you try out seats in your car before buying them? Just testing for fit, not "testing driving" with them.
Thanks so much !!!!

He is only 5 months old therefore I still need to carry him in the carseat because he can not walk. I am just afraid he will his that 22-25 lb mark before you know it and already looks a little uncomfortable in the car seat we have now. I got the best one that Chicco infant car seat but he looks snug what should I do? Do you think he will gain the weight and what kind of convertible car seat should I buy? I need still like I said to carry him around ANY SUGGESTIONS are so much appreciated!!
