I have a Jeep with cloth seats, and over the years people have spilled and stains have gotten into the seats - I’ve tried a few remedies from auto stores, but nothing seems to get them out. Anyone know a good way to get deep stains (ie: coke, chocolate, etc). out?

TO ALL THE KIDS WHO WERE BORN IN THE

1950’s, 60’s and 70’s !!
First, some of us survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they carried us. ( sioktong ang inumin)
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, fish from a can ( brand : ligo ), and didn’t get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paints, pati na yung laruang kabayu-kabayuhan.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets, no kneepads , sometimes wala ngang preno yung bisikleta.
As children, we would ride in car with no seat belts or air bags – hanggang ngayon naman, di ba ? ( jeep )
Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special treat. ( maykaya kayo pare ! )
We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle ( minsan straight from the faucet)

I am in the market to get a convertible car seat for My 13 months old daughter. She weighs 20 lbs and is 30 inches tall.

I want to keep her rear facing as long as possible and i am debating between Britax boulevard and Evenflo Symphony 65. Which one is better (Ignoring the price factor)?

Also, I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty and 1997 toyota corolla. Any idea whether these car seats will fit in?

I am totally overwhelmed with all the different brands and types of jogging strollers, does anyone have any good recommendations?

I am seeing InSTEP, Schwinn, Jeep, Graco, etc. I mainly need it just for running and/or walking in my neighborhood. I have a 20 pound one year old boy and a 30 pound three year old girl. Thank you for any help in advance!

My son weighs 18 lbs (almost 6 months old) is going to outgrow his infant carrier at 22 lbs.
I am interested in Britax because of their safety features and with my Christmas bonus coming money is not an issue.
I am looking into Britax’s convertible seats and I’m not sure but I’m leaning towards the Boulevard.
Anyone have any experience with this one? I am installing it in a Jeep Liberty.

it’s not in the instrument cluster like my 1999 Jeep XJ. The owners manual does not specify that it even has one? Need to locate for a state patrol inspection?

My son is almost three and I will have a newborn soon.My son is in a toddler seat and the newborn will have an infant carrier and I don’t know how to arrange them in the car.Does one have to be at one side and the other on the other side.We have a jeep liberty and no one will be able to use the backseat if we arrange it like that.But i also think you cant share the anchors for both car seats.

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty with 24,000 miles with the following problems:
wobbly windows
trans slams into gear
seats stain easily
shift handle is loose
Leather on steering wheel worn through
Three recalls so far
poor mpg (20mpg at 55mph….12 mpg at 75mph)
Interior parts that come loose and rattle

I tried to "buy american" but I get rewarded with a piece of junk.
Next one is a Toyota or Honda. It bums me out some much to drive this junker, That I prefer to drive my 1995 Mazda Miata with 70,000 miles whenever I can.
All this talk about the US automakers isn’t due to unfair trade practices or high union costs, its due to making JUNK!!!!
They have had 40 years to deal with foreign automakers and they still can’t get it right, and never will. Good riddance.

My wife and I have a 9 month old 22 pound little girl who goes everywhere with us in a jeep front facing infant carrier. We bought it when she was 9 pounds so carrying her this way was no big deal. After growing over twice that size we have started to realize the lower back ache from this and need a new one with great lower back support. The Jeep carrier is only rated to 26 pounds so we need something bigger than that. We love putting her outfacing and she really enjoys it also.

I just need some recommendations for single jogging strollers that can handle infant car seats, probably the Graco SnugRide though I haven’t bought anything yet. I’ve noticed that a larger number of strollers can accommodate them but they don’t really publicize it for some reason. The BOB is a little $$$ for me, any less expensive options? What have your experiences been? I will be walking 5+ miles on sidewalk and gravel trails, and occasionally jogging as well at about a 10 min/mile pace. I’m a 5′4" woman. Thanks in advance!!
Has anybody had experience with an infant car seat in a Schwinn Free Wheeler or an InStep as well? What about a Jeep stroller?

I tried to install a second child seat in our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee over the weekend. Believe it or not, the manual says to install the second one in the front seat, as there is a special adapter on the seat belt buckle that keeps it tight. Obviously, this isn’t acceptable these days - can’t put a car seat in the front seat.

Have any of you had this problem? What did you do? The back seat belts do not have this adapter, and do not "cinch (spelling?)".

My 2nd daughter is expected soon and I have been hashing for months over dawgawn strollers!!! I have found several that I like and then read reviews and freak! Duo strollers are so hard to find on display so you can test them and what not. I have been to sears and jcpenny and their Duos are cheap crap but you have to pay out the nose! I went to Baby Depot in Burlington and found 2 I really really like and that my 2 year old fits in! I just have no Idea which is best to go with…1 is the Jeep Wagoneer Stroller (husband had this for his son 5 years ago and said it was great) then I found the DuoGlider LX Stroller-Samuel (Graco) which is not only stylish but I can fit my car seat I already have in front and back! The Graco seems to fold more compact than the Jeep which is always good because I am not luging a bulky object around! Both strollers are surprisingly light in weight…Graco is 31 lbs and Jeep is 35 lbs. Does anyone have either of these and could maybe put some input in please!

I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Classic and within the last two weeks the air bag light comes on and goes off, then stays on then will go off. Anyone elses had this issue? Any possible causes? Problems? What do I need to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
