jeep jogging stroller?

is a jeep jogging stroller good for a 3 yr old boy? he is outgrowing his current one

Wasn’t exactly sure where to post this question so I posted it twice. I am pregnant with my 3rd child. I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee in November. I can obviously not afford a new vehicle, and still owe quite a bit of money on this Jeep. I know i can fit the 3 car seats in the back seat of the Jeep, but it is very tight and I would like for my children to be comfortable while in the car. I have a daughter who will be 3 just a few weeks before this new one is due, a son who will be 2, 4 months after this one is due and his carseat is HUGE (i can sit in it if i wanted to). So I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get or IF I can get a small, but still safe toddler carseat or booster with 5-point harness that would give me more room in the vehicle.

Jeep jogging stroller?

Anyone have the Jeep jogging stroller? I think it’s the Liberty model… 3 wheels… any feedback?

I am thinking of getting the jeep sprt jogging stroller…i have someone on craigslist that is willing to sell it for . my son is 3 and is ready for a bigger weight limit stroller…I do not jog and will not be using it for this purpose…it is going to be mostly used at malls, parks, beach and theme parks…any pros and cons to it? are they easy to fit in car trunks? will the wheel be hard to turn? thanks

I called Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts & one other Auto Parts store, one told me they did not carry it. The other 2 told me I had to replace the Fuel Pump as well. As I am now Disabled, and can no longer do my own repairs, I figured I better ask someone else. It has been a while since I worked on a car, but I have never heard one where every time you replace the Filter you have to replace the Pump as well. Is the filter on most vehicles still located near the rear tire on the Driver’s side of the car just after or under the driver’s side rear seat? Why would they tell me to replace the Pump as well as the Filter? Is there a recall or something for the years 1997/98? Or are the parts counter people crazy. The information I gave them was: 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Larado 6 Cylinder 4.0 Liter, and I asked for a Fuel Filter. Please help. Thanks one and all in advance. Don
Okay, one last question. It use to start on the first try within 2 to 4 seconds, now I have to either turn it over for more than 8 to 10 seconds or turn the key forward so as that the pump will prime then turn it off again then crank it up. It will generally start a little faster after that. I have not had the Spark Plugs changed in at least 15 months, but then I don’t drive alot either. So does that sound like a clogged Filter, Plugs or what? Thanks again everyone for all and any input. Don

All Terrain or Jogging Stroller?

I’m looking at the jeep all terrain stroller that has the lockable front swivel wheel. But, I’ve read that you can’t use any stroller like that as a jogger unless it has a hand brake? I’m just curious if this is true, and what exactly does the hand brake do? I may do limited jogging with this stroller, but will mostly be doing walking in hills, grass, and in general rough terrain. Any help is appreciated!

I have a Britax infant carrier that my child is out growing, 20 pounds it also a lot to carry in that thing. I have two Britax car-seats that my older son used that are only two years old. I have tried to use the convertible car seats backwards which I never did before my first son fit in the carrier for a year. I can not make them tight to the seat, I use the latch system and have called Britax and they are still able to push forward hardly any force. I tried a 2003 taurus(my car), 2004 Chevy cavalier(husbands) and a 2006 Jeep commander(winter car). I can’t get them to tighten down, any one have another brand that will or maybe a new Britax that fits?
I don’t think I worded it right… The car seats fit in so tight forward facing that when you shake it, it will move the car. When turned around I can no longer use a top latch, so I have only the bottom latch system to use. With the angle of the seat when you are just pulling the carseat down by the front of it with nothing to have the back aginst it will not stay. Is it tight yes.. you can’t move it side to side but if you push on the back which is normally aginst the seat of the car it rocks forward. Lets hope that you understand better, fyi my husband is a cop and in our state they are certified to install car seats, but thanks for trying to tell me I am stupid.
Okay Ford has no recommended latch point for the top latch chevy no recommendation and jeep same there, I already called all of them. And FYI again 2006 was the first model year for a commander. yikes. I had a 2005 dodge minivan like in the video and yes they come with a bottom latch points from the factory. I have no bottom latch points from the factory and I don’t much care for the rebound.
AS I said before he is they go to a class once a year. But, that’s all fine. I still can’t see how the rebounding is safe, just really makes me scared. I don’t see latching the top teather if the manufactures told me they had no safe point.
Maybe I am but these are my children. Can’t help it.

Strollers and Rental Cars?

Hello,

My family and I will be taking a vacation to upstate NY and into Canada. We will be flying from Utah to New York and then renting an economy car from budget and driving into Canada. We will be visiting numerous sites along the way. We will be bringing a 22 month old and a 3 month old. What stroller should I bring?

Mostly thinking about room in the car. We will be gone 6 days. I’m thinking about purchasing a new stroller for the trip, but can’;t really afford it. I currently have a Single Graco stroller an umbrella stroller and a double jeep umberlla stroller. What should I do?

What baby car seat works with a jeep wrangler?

Hi, I need to know if anyone out there has a jeep wrangler that has had to use a car seat.

I need to buy the next car seat for my baby, she will soon be 6 months and outgrowing her infant car seat. I have a four door jeep wrangler and it’s a tight fit between the backseat and front seat.

Just wondering what car seats would work nice.

Also, do you know if stores let you try out seats in your car before buying them? Just testing for fit, not "testing driving" with them.

Thanks so much !!!!
:) :)

I just bought a Jeep Liberty Sport Urban Terrian Jog Stroller and I need to know if it is possible to put a carseat in it. I looked online and some websites say yes and some say no. If there are carseats that are accepted with this carseat which ones are compatible?

We have a jeep cherokee. -Cannot, repeat, cannot buy a new car right now. We’re dealing with layoffs and can barely get by as it is. A new booster law is going into effect in one month in our state requiring us to fit 2 boosters and an infant seat in the back of a jeep cherokee, (or a geo prizm). How the heck are we going to do this? We also can’t spend 0 plus dollars for new "radian" car seats. Do the "ride-safer-vests" do a good job? Would they even be legal and who would I ask that? Right now my oldest is using a harness system in the middle -it tethers to the back of the jeep and goes over his shoulders. Any ideas? I’m not comfortable squishing them in there so much that they are not positioned right.

This weekend we are switching over to a convertible car seat since he has just about outgrown his carrier. How are you supposed to run errands now? The problem is that he can’t sit up unassisted…getting close, but still not there. How am I supposed to take him out and about?

Do you take him in and out of the car and always leave the seat in? (first time mom–can you tell? lol) I can only assume that typically a child can sit up on their own by the time they are ready for a different car seat. Same problem exists with our stroller… he seems a little too small to be just sitting in the stroller instead of the carrier…?

(My computer is acting up so I couldn’t search before posting…sorry if you’re repeating yourself)
I have a Jeep carrier (the ones that strap on to you), but he gets aggervated easily in it and isn’t long before he wants out.

He goes to the doc this afternoon for his 4month checkup, but he was 15lbs at 2 months…so I know he’s getting up there. He’s heavy!!

Guess I’ll have to wing it and look for those carts with the infant holders attatched. Thanks for helping me everyone!
The convertible car seats face backwards 5-35 pounds then can be moved forward facing for up to a year or better.
