Sorry, had to get the safety crazy in there
i’m safety crazy!
I have a Brit ax Marathon and my daughter has started putting her arm through the bottom strap. Right above the crotch buckle but under the chest clip, she puts her entire hand under there. I almost freaked thinking her straps were way too loose, but they aren’t. I can’t tighten them any tighter or she’d be in an unnatural position. Is this small gap between her and harness normal? Is this unsafe?
Tina has twins – No she’s not getting out, there is no way she could get out lol. She just started doing it and i bet it’s because she’s slimming down (ever since walking) so she probably does have some extra room that she didn’t have before. But yeah, it’s tight at her chest and shoulders.

Long story short, my mother hasnt had to take my 8 month old anywhere in a car since she fit into her Graco Snugride. This week she will be driving with my daughter. I have a Marathon in my truck, but need one for hers. I found mine (Ashley pattern), on sale in April for 9 at dreamtimebaby.com. I need to find one for a good price since payday is a week away. Does anyone know of any sites doing good deals? It just cant be in dark colors, we are in Az!
Thanks! I went to albeebaby.com and ordered the Erin! Hubby is thrilled because it isnt as ‘girly’ as our current Ashley print, but is still a girls seat (it will eventually be in his car). Mom is thrilled to be getting the safest for her grandbaby:)

my son is only ONE INCH away from the height maximum on his infant car seat. he’s getting sooo big I have decided I want to get a Britax seat and I’m down to the Marathon or the Boulevard. I saw them both in the store today but I wanted too look at reviews and get some opinions. anyone have one or the other or tried both? the Boulevard is more expensive, but it’s got a little more cushion and you can move the straps up and down with a wheel, without having to thread them in and out. the Marathon is cheaper though, and still very nice and it’s pretty ‘no muss, no fuss.’
any insight? any other suggestions for convertible car seats? I would like the seat to rear face at least until 35 lbs because I plan on RFing for at least two years. I have a medium sized car — a dodge stratus.
also, I need something I can switch in and out of cars sort of easily.
any help at all would be great. thank you!!

My 6-month old son is approximately 20 pounds. We are looking to switch from the infant carrier to the convertible car seat. The Britax Roundabout is rated to 40 pounds, but we are afraid he may outgrow this weight-wise before he is ready for a booster-seat age-wise. The price and size difference between the Roundabout (40 pounds) and Marathon (65 pounds) is considerable. These are the only seats that fit him comfortably and with great safety ratings.

This morning myself and my children were in a pretty bad wreck where the guy hit us coming off the interstate at full speed. We are all shaken up, but physically just sore. My kids ages 4 years & 10 months are all in one piece thanks to their Britax seats, thank goodness.
My van is a goner and I know I have to replace my kids’ seats as well. Will this guys insurance cover my kids Britax seats? I know by law they have to pay for other seats, but will they cover over 0.00 for Britax? I want my kids to be in the same seats. My infant daughter was in a roundabout and my 4 year old son was in a brand new (purchased last month) Marathon. I have receipts for neither, because the roundabout was my sons and was purchased 3 years ago so that recpt. is long gone. The Marathon was purchased NEW sealed in the box from a carseat seller on eBay. I have the payapl invoice for it from last month, but no "real" recpt.

they’re both britax. one ia marathon and one is roundabout 50. Which one do you think it has better cover ( not to make baby wet in summer and comfy)?

My daughter is close to outgrowing her infant car seat, and I’ve been trying to decide between the Evenflo Triumph or the Britax Roundabout or Marathon. Does anyone know how good the annual Britax sale is? And what month it usually occurs in? Also, any opinions about these 3 carseats would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I own two Britax convertable seats (the Marathon and the Decathalon) and when I bought them the cover was sooooo super soft, like velvet. But I had to wash it the other day for the first time and it’s not soft anymore!! I didn’t machine wash or dry (the tag advised not to) so I did as the tag instructed me to. So my question is, IS there anyway to make the material feel that soft again?

I want to buy new car seats for my kids. My daughter is two, and my son is 5 months. I have already decided on a Britax seat, but don’t know which one to get! I am stuck between the roundabout, marathon, and decathlon. Which one should I get for which child??

My 9 month old is about to outgrow her infant seat. I’ve been researching car seats and believe Britax is the best brand option. Which model is a better product, the Marathon or Boulevard and why?
If you would recommend another product, please let me know…specially why! Thanks!!

I don’t think I will have the money to get my first choice of car seat (Britax Marathon), but I have heard great reviews about this one. What is your opinion on it?

I need a car seat that is safe comfortable and FAA aproved, i have narrowed it down to a marathon or a decathalon. I would like some opinion from owners of both so i can make a proper decision since they are pretty spendy.

I can’t afford the Boulevard or Marathon so I’m leaning towards this one. Does anyone know where I can find some reputable safety reviews for this? Anyone have it? Love it? Hate it?
