to each his own style, right? but this preschool’s style is just…well, i don’t know, too much? they call it ‘seatbelting’. but some kids would cry for a long while because of the restraint. would you know of other schools that do this? it just doesn’t feel right.
i did pull my kids out a couple of months ago. and even managed to coax some of the moms to do the same. but the preschool is still at it and i feel i should do something more.

I wanted some opinions from other moms about this car seat. My toddler is about 2 1/2 and 31lbs over 35 inches tall. His seat only goes to 50lbs harnessed. At the time we got his seat( a safety first 3 n 1) he wasn’t able to Forward face yet. Also at the time I researched seats most only went up to 50lbs. I would like something that would keep him harnessed longer. I’ve also found that the booster in our 3 n 1 is ON the NOT recommended list as in it doesn’t seat the lap belt correctly over the child when wanting to use the booster.
Ive researched prices on the nautilus and I couldn’t find it any cheaper 150-170. Ive looked at over 10 sites. Have any of you found it cheaper than this anywhere online? Thanks for all opinions!
Recommended Use:
-20-65 lbs., 27”- 52” with 5-point harness
-30-100 lbs., 38” – 57” as highback booster
-40-100 lbs., 40” – 57” as backless booster
I got this off diapers.com site in the details about this seat. I like that is also goes to 52" in the 5 point harness.

I am 6 1/2 months pregnant and want to get a baby sling, but there are so many options out there and I do not know which one will work the best. Any moms with an opinion?

I am debating on weather to buy an infant car seat/travel system or go with a convertable infant-toddler car seat. I was just wondering if those convertable infant seats can fit onto the new car seat carrier type strollers they make now? I haven’t read on any of the descriptions if they fit on them or not…? So the convertable car seat would just stay in the car and you’d just use a carrier for the baby VS with an infant car seat, you can just pop it out and snap it onto one of those car seat carrier/strollers? Hmm..touch choice, I guess it would just depend on how much money you’d want to spend in the long run?? So many choices! So, all you experienced moms, what has worked best for you???

We are planning to travel to San Diego to visit some relatives. We plan to drive over to SD since we live in SF. I just want to know from other moms who have traveled by car. Just want to be safe for my little one. Thanks

I was wondering if there are any moms out there that have a 2009 Nissan Versa. If you do, how many car seats can you fit back there? I’m having twins, and I have a 7 year old that rides in the back seat.

Moms which one would you choose? It would be for a new baby and a toddler almost or at least 2 years old.
The MAIN features that i am looking for are
#1 Can fit into small places (like shopping)
#2 Is somewhat light and small when its folded.
#3 For both seats to recline and have sun shades
OR in your opinion should i just put the little baby in a sling and push the toddler around? I have a nice peg perego stroller that i just cannot get rid of anytime soon. I have this one:
http://www.albeebaby.com/peg-perego-p3-stroller-2008-moka.html
and these are the double strollers i was looking at:
#1 http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-double-2008-brown-tan.html
#2 http://www.albeebaby.com/graco-quattro-tour-duo-double-stroller-6k00snt3-sachi.html
#3http://www.albeebaby.com/maclaren-2009-twin-techno-double-stroller-black-with-black-frame.html
any suggestions? what would you do? or buy and please tell why! Thanks!
Edit: also the stroller that I ALREADY own has a step bar in the back for an older kid to stand on but i just think she would be too young to stand on it…not sure though..?

I’m looking for the safest car available on a budget. I want the one with the best crash rating for a *rear* crash. I’ve always driven trucks, and I’m afraid to drive a sedan, but there’s no space in the driveway for an SUV! We’re looking for a used car with incredible safety ratings for *back seat* passengers. What do the other cool moms out there think? Sidenote — I will *never* drive a minivan!

I’ve spent hours researching car seats for my 9 month old who has outgrown his infant seat. I’ve always heard that Britax is the best but really couldn’t afford their prices. I found the Evenflo and tried it out in the store. It seemed extremely comfortable and I liked the harness adjustment knob as well as the price. I’ve read great reviews on it on many sites, the only cons I’ve read seem to be it’s size and difficutly to install. I was surprised after paying to see Consumer Reports, that the Marathon ranked under the Alpha Omega! which was under the Enveflo. I’ve found a great deal online for the Marathon where I’d only be paying more than the Evenflo. I must admit I’m hesitant to buy such a big item online for fear of arriving damaged or having problems returning it should I need to. It’s so much easier to buy from a store. Any feedback from experienced Moms with the Marathon or ETADLX?

My 5 month old daughter will soon outgrow her infant carrier. I was wondering if any moms out there have any recommendations? Please, I’d appreciate it if your recommendations stem from car seats that you’ve actually used! Thanks!
Also, safety and quality are more important to me than style!

I am pregnant with my first baby and I am so confused on what car seat and stroller to get. I really like the Peg Perego’s looks but I know that is not what I will base my decision on. Any experienced moms have one that they love?

I have a 11 week old daughter who is breastfed and she’s not napping very well during the day. Sometimes I can get a 30 minute nap, sometimes 1 hour. Sometimes she wakes up after 5 minutes. If she doesn’t nap at all I find it very difficult to get her down at night time.
I’m just wondering what other moms are experiencing. How long does your newborn nap and for how long?
