I have been searching for a plain black car seat cover for the car seat that my daughter used. I am pregnant with baby #2 a boy and I wanted to use the same car seat but put a cover over it. We are getting a sit n stand stroller because these two are only going to be 2 years apart and we figured it would be a lot easier with one of these. The sit n stand we are most likely getting is black and gray and I figured a plain black slip cover would work fine. I can’t find one anywhere and don’t know what to do. Buying a new car seat is really not something I want to do since my daughter’s is in great shape.

They do make covers for carseats. look it up. They are just really ugly.

I am due in July with my first baby, and I am having second thoughts about the stroller that I picked out. I picked out a Graco Stylus Travel System. The car seat holds up to 35lbs, and the stroller holds up to 50 lbs. I have read all of the reviews, and the only thing I am kind of worried about is how heavy people say that it is. Not pregnant, I am not a big person, only weighing in at about 120 (pre-pregnancy) and I’m only 5′2".
Do any of you all have any suggestions on a really good baby travel system? You can see the travel system that I picked out originally if click on the link below :).
I am having a baby girl by the way, but I would like to keep the stroller somewhat sex neutral just in case I end up having any more children.
Your input is greatly appreciated

I am pregnant with our 6th child a little boy and my husband and I plan on getting the baby a car seat for Christmas but we have been talking about weather we should just buy a convertible seat or stick with an infant seat that you can take in and out of the car.
These are the three car seats that we have really looked at and just wondered if any other parents have any input. Did you just buy a convertible seat and use a sling for your baby when they were little?

2) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3680231

If anyone else has a car seat they recommend please give the link. Which car seat would you buy a infant seat or a convertible seat? thanks
**Kel- neither of your links worked. Can you repost them please.

We have the graco comfort sport right now and my 3 year old can unlock the chest piece and take her arms out. I have been doing research and have found the safest booster seat to buy is a 5 point harness booster seat…But they all have the chest piece that looks just like the car seat she has now. In my opinion it wouldn’t be safe if she keeps unlocking the chest piece.
So should I get a regular booster seat that just uses a seat belt?
or
Is there another 5 pt harness booster with a chest lock thats harder to open?

I have a Boulevard for my daughter, This one:
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3029005
And I love everything about it, except the wings for the head, I thought it would be great but its really worse than good.
I was just wondering which one is your favorite and why?
I changed her out of the carrier carseat around 4 months because i hated that thing, and now im thinking i should just buy a convertable for my next born straight out. think it would be too big? even WITH the newborn inserts?
Do you like this one?:
http://www.albeebaby.com/britax-decathlon-convertible-car-seat-onyx.html
It only goes to 65 lbs though unlike my daughters which goes up to 100 lbs!
Edit: I still have my daughters carrier carseat (within 5 year man.) if my thought backfires on me lol and its babyblue so its gender neutral

My twin girls are 8months old and I’m at the point where I just take them out of their car seats when we go shopping. I just put them in the front of the cart and use a cart cover.
I am looking for a good convertible car seat to buy for the girls. They are still small for their age they are only 16.5lbs.
I have looked at these car seats online and was just wondering if anyone has any of these could you tell me if you like them or not and which one you would pick.

♥ Which one do you have for your child/children and do you like it? And which one would you buy for your child? thanks for the help
I want to keep them rear facing as long as I can. My second oldest is 2.5 and I just switched her to forward facing because she wasn’t 40lbs yet.

My 8 month old is 22lbs. and 28 in. long. She is outgrowing her car seat and we need a new one. What is a good car seat for under 0? We can not afford a Britax, so please don’t answer with that. Here are some we are considering…

I bought the chicco infant seat because I heard it was the safest, and I have been happy with it, but I’ve realized it was compeltely unnecessary?!
I never use it as a carrier (it doesn’t fit on the grocery carts), I carry my son in a sling.
I should have just bought the Radian car seat that is also rated the safest convertible car seat. Fits kids 5-80 lbs., so I would have only had to buy one car seat!
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2602046
Hope I can help a new mom who hasn’t bought her car seat yet!
The radian seat is also better because it is rear facing to 45 lbs., my infant seat is only good until 22 lbs.
Yeah I feel ripped off! I hardly ever used his infant seat as a carrier!
Dinja - thae seat is pricey, but so was the chicco that I bought. It’s kind of a shame but the car seats with the highest safety ratings tend to be pricier. I’d rather buy one good car seat than 2 or 3 mediocre but cheaper car seats.

I like both these car seats at Babies R Us. Both go up to 50 lbs but the 2nd one reclines and comes with a belt positioning booster 40-80lbs. Is that a booster seat? Not sure. But I’m like the second one better but it has worse reviews then the 1st. Anyone have either car seat???

I’m thinking about getting this car seat but reviews at babies r us aren’t good. Does anyone have this car seat and like it? I have the stroller and wanted to get the matching car seat because it’s nice and small and leaves plenty of room in the trunk.

I am thinking of splurging for this car seat since it will last until my baby reaches 6 years old. Has anyone used this kind or has other suggestions? I hadn’t heard of this brand until I started looking last night.

My sister-in-law is registering for this car seat:
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2580971&fromRegistryNumber=53893238&product_skn=678772
and this snap-n-go type stroller
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2266236&fromRegistryNumber=53893238&product_skn=53012
I don’t think they are compatible…but I don’t want to tell her until i’m sure. Does anyone have these two items, and use them together?
She wouldn’t be putting the baby at risk for an accident, the car seat itself is very safe. I am asking if anyone specifically has experience with this combination. Please no speculation, I need a definitive answer. I myself have a child and used my carseat and snap-n-go, and it was great. Please answer my question based on your own experience, not your random thoughts.
The peg-perego carseat comes with a base for the car. I am ONLY talking about interchanging the stroller and the infant car seat. I’m sorry if I’m being unclear.
