Toddler car seat covers?

My step daughter has a convertible car seat and I have seen so many cute ones you can order online for infant car seats and some toddler car seats but not the one she has this style: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3458514 (but in a grey/flowers print). If you know of sites that sell covers please leave a link. & also can you buy just the cover from gracos website? Thanks!!

Do you have a Baby Trend Jogging Stroller?

I am getting this one b/c it’s the most affordable one I can find at the moment:

Do you like this stroller?

i don’t understand. i would LOVE to buy an infant carrier but i thought that babies are not supposed to sleep upright against your chest because it’s a SIDS risk????? am i wrong?

For parents with a (or had a) young toddler and a new baby, can you tell me what you’d recommend as far as a stroller goes? I’ve been looking at two.

The first is the Baby Trend Sit and Stand double stroller. It’s a typical in-line double stroller, and the rear seat comes off when the toddler is older so they can just sit on the platform or stand on their own. It comes as a travel system. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=4279629&prodFindSrc=search

Or should I get a jogging stroller? I was looking at one of the Phil & Ted Explorer Buggy strollers where you buy a double kit, and it becomes a double in-line stroller. http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=4452629&prodFindSrc=search This one can carry different brands of infant car seats to make it a travel system.

I guess my problem is that I have two Evenflo infant seats and neither of them are going to be any good to me once this new baby comes, if I want a double stroller.

So…in saying all of that, do you think I’d be better off with option #1, where it comes as a travel system and I don’t have to purchase another car seat separately, option #2, where I’d have to additionally buy the conversion kit plus another new car seat, or my 3rd option: to just use the stroller that I have (that is also Evenflo and I can use the seats I already have, too, and let my toddler walk everywhere?

What worked best for your family? Did you find your toddler did well without a stroller? Carson is really good in stores…we don’t use a stroller for her at this point, and I just hold her hand or let her walk a little ways in front of me. But with a new baby I can see that becoming very difficult to do.
It’s just me: No, not all car seats ARE interchangeable. I tried my evenflo on the Baby Trend Sit and Stand. It doesn’t click to latch it on securely. So in that case, it ONLY fits THEIR brand. The Phil and Ted jogging stroller fits Graco, Maxi Cosi, and Peg Perego. Not Evenflo (I have also tried this).

Trust me, I would not have asked this if it weren’t a VALID question, so don’t act like answering it was a complete waste of your time.
Response to It’s Just Me: Listen, I have been in contact with the company, both Evenflo for my car seats and the companies that sell the strollers. Yes, Phil & Ted’s DO sell a conversion kit for the car seats I’ve listed, you’re right. But they do not have one for Evenflo seats. Likewise, as far as the other stroller (the travel system) goes, there IS no conversion kit available. I’ve spoken with them. I’ve tried it in the store with my car seat. It’s a no go. So before you go off saying "Oh la la la, they all fit, I must know what I’m talking about"…take a moment and actually LISTEN to what I am saying. I have done my research, I’ve tested and tried. Evenflo is one of those brands that not many stroller companies support. So yes, I totally want to go out looking for an excuse to spend between 0-0. That was the exact point of my question (sarcasm).

if i got this carseat

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2400897&cp=&sr=1&f=Taxonomy%2FTRUS%2F2255957&origkw=graco+safeseat&kw=graco+safeseat&parentPage=search

is there a stroller i can get that works with it so i can put the car seat on the stroller?

(i’m going to be a first time mom in october and i have NO idea about these things! help!)

My daughter is 10 months old and is still in her infant carrier. I am looking through convertible car seats and I would like to continue have her rear facing…. for as long as possible as it is 5x safer for her that way…according to my "research" so with that in consideration I think I like the Britax Decathlon-Tiffany.

http://www.britaxusa.com/car-seats/decathlon

I can do rear facing until 35 pounds which is great. It is pricy but worth it right? It’s about 0.

If I don’t get that one I’m looking into the Safety 1st Complete Air

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3601278&CAWELAID=361832268

Around 0 hundred something and can rear face until 40 lbs if I am correct?

Which one do you think is better? and What Convertible car seat does your little one have?

Thanks in advance.

Car-seat??

I have been looking at infant carriers, and what to know what you all think of them, and your experience with them. I have already had two Graco ones, and having nothing to complain about them, but what is the difference between the snugride and safeseat, one is more expensive?? But also I have Britax convertible seats and love them!! But then I always hear good things about Peg Perego. Which one would you go with, or any other suggestions??

so i found this stroller

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3123752&fromRegistryNumber=40945226&product_skn=83147

we wanted a black and grey, gender neutral one. and this seems great, plus the price is affordable. the only problem is that we have a peg perego car seat. have any of you mixed and matched different brands and the seats still fit on the stroller properly?

i would just take the seat in and try it in the store, but this is an online only product.
well, the strollers in that brand are extreemly extreemly expensive, i might as well just get a different car seat for cheaper, lol

The other convertable carseats from Britax have the infant padding included and cost more than the Roundabout. Is there someplace that offers the infant padding separately so I can purchase it? I don’t want to use rolled up blankets unless I have no other choice.
Hmmm….are these ’roundabout’ ways of telling me that I won’t be able to find the padding? I know all about wobbly heads and infant carriers….this is my 5th child. Just want the padding…
Thanks Due in July, I’ll check there!
I found the Belboa Snuzzler at BabiesRUs, http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2299911#showReviewsI think this is what I’ll need…thanks DueinJuly.

car seat vs booster seat?

My husband has been compalining recently about how much room the car seat takes up in his car, and today at the store he saw booster seats that have 5 point harnesses and look like a car seat really just not as bulky, now he wants one… i told him i would look into the safety of our son before he was alowed to get it.

our son is 15 months 30 lbs and im not sure on his hight i think its 29 inches

does anybody know about the difference between this kind of booster seat and a regular car seat as far as safety and are there laws about minnimum age in a booster
this is the car seat that he wants if that helps… also we live in illinois if there are any age laws.

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3012740

this is the car seat he has now

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3028987

he faces forward

but what is the difference then from convertibal and the booster?

So i’m looking for a light weight umbrella type stroller for my daughter. I have narrowed it down to 2 different strollers and dont know which one is better.

The first one is the Peg Perego Pliko Lite:

http://www.babydealz.com/20pepllimimt.html

And the second one is the Maclaren Quest Sport:

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2979447

Any input or other stroller suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have finalized the above two car seats for my 14 month twins. I am getting great deals on both car seats. Much cheaper than the advertised prices. I am more inclined towards the Britax because of its safety features but still the price of Alpha Omega at BJ’s is . It is very hard to beat this offer. The alpha omega looked pretty decent as well. Please check the links below to the car seats and if you have owned these car seats please lend me you advise.

Can't find a cover for infant car seat?

I have been searching for a plain black car seat cover for the car seat that my daughter used. I am pregnant with baby #2 a boy and I wanted to use the same car seat but put a cover over it. We are getting a sit n stand stroller because these two are only going to be 2 years apart and we figured it would be a lot easier with one of these. The sit n stand we are most likely getting is black and gray and I figured a plain black slip cover would work fine. I can’t find one anywhere and don’t know what to do. Buying a new car seat is really not something I want to do since my daughter’s is in great shape.

They do make covers for carseats. look it up. They are just really ugly.

Which is better for a baby girl?

My friend is having a baby girl in November and she has a black Peg Perego car seat previously from her older son.She doesn’t want a pink Bundle Me so she either wants blue or green.Which is better?

Green:

I am due in July with my first baby, and I am having second thoughts about the stroller that I picked out. I picked out a Graco Stylus Travel System. The car seat holds up to 35lbs, and the stroller holds up to 50 lbs. I have read all of the reviews, and the only thing I am kind of worried about is how heavy people say that it is. Not pregnant, I am not a big person, only weighing in at about 120 (pre-pregnancy) and I’m only 5’2".

Do any of you all have any suggestions on a really good baby travel system? You can see the travel system that I picked out originally if click on the link below :) .

I am having a baby girl by the way, but I would like to keep the stroller somewhat sex neutral just in case I end up having any more children.

Your input is greatly appreciated :)
