I have the Eddie Bauer 3 in 1 convertible car seat and I feel like I have been wrangling with it for weeks to get it to fit properly.
The problem is my car is 16 years old, it’s in great shape.. But it doesn’t have those little anchor hook things. So I use the seat belt instead per the instructions. I am just not able to get the seat in tight enough. No matter what I do it moves about like a drunken sailor.
Any tips?

I am 6’4” and got my first ticket for not wearing a seat belt today..anything I can do?
Also I have a friend who is 6’3” and was wearing his seat belt while in a crash. It messed up his back/spine pretty bad because of his height. I can guarantee he would have much rather had a few stitches in his head then a messed up back for life…he never wears his seat belt anymore

Ok the seat belt on the passenger has always had problems. The belt would always lock and would not come all the way out until after a few tries. Now the thing will not retract or come out and seems to be completely locked. The vehicle is a 92 dodge caravan. Does anybody know how to fix it?

He currently has the booster with no back , I hate it.. He unbuckles his seatbelt and tries to stand in the car. So im changing seats like today so he can get strapped down by the car seats seat belt also. But what kind would be safe and appropriate for a big 2 yr old

I have a 2005 Chevy Aveo that the rear seat belt buckles fell out of one day. I have a new buckle to put in and it looks simple enough, I just can’t find where the base is in the car. How do I do this?

I haven’t actually bought the car seat yet so I don’t know what the LATCH system looks like or how to install it. Can you use both the LATCH system and the seat belt at the same time for added safety? What do you do with your baby’s car seat?

I need a seat belt repair and I was wondering if I go to the dealer (my mom says so) or can I go somewhere else. And how much does it usually cost?
The slider part (where you buckle it) broke off, so now it isn’t secure.

I agree that children under the age of 12 should be required to be belted in. I am an adult. If I don’t want to wear a seat belt, why should I have to?

I just got a ticket for suspended license, no seat belt , and child restraint. Can I get my license reinstated still?
They where suspended for an old traffic ticket that I just paid in March. I got the ticket 2 days ago.

my cousin just turned six and is STILL in the five point harness seat because he refuses to cooperate with the seat belt models. they have tried to give him the big kid booster seat (really light and portable and you just put the seat belt over them) but he will not leave the seat belt alone. he either unbuckles it or puts the shoulder strap behind his back!
he is getting rather tall (almost four feet now). and all of his younger cousins seem to be in booster seat by four and they stay in them just fine. the only way to keep him in a car seat is to get the baby style straps. he cannot seem to figure out how to work those! his bus driver even has to strap him down with a five point harness on the bus because he refuses to stay sitting. he prefers to stand in the seat, kneel in the seat, crawl around the floorboard.. you get the idea.
when were your kids ready to get into a big kid seat and will this kid ever be old enough for the big kid models?
the one he has now fits kids up to 90 pounds. he is only fifity pounds so he fits it fine.
its called a high back booster seat for older kids. it fits up to almost a hundred pounds. it is heavy and very large but it is the only way he will stay in the seat.
and the seat belts on the bus are designed to fit even teens if adjusted right so those should last awhile.

its similar to this one but goes up to 85 pounds. the big kid booster was for 35 to 100 pounds but he would not use it right!
hes hyperactive. and unfortunately has an issue with listening at times. his teacher also has problems getting him to stay in one place in class. he gets in trouble all the time for getting up when he is not supposed to. no matter what you do!

It is the electric seat belt where the one for your shoulder is separate and in my car it is not moving from the front to the back. Anyone know how to fix it?

that is connected to the floor pan when you are using an over the shoulder seat belt? I am trying to find a replacement for this part on my 2001 Focus but I am not sure what it is called. I have found plenty of seat belts but not the part that the end actually buckles into.

My 3 year old is already 40 inches in height but not mature enough for the seat belt booster seat.

I’m a young college female who got a no seat belt ticket from a cop. Was this likely because he wanted to make money off me, a civilian for the government, or could it be that he did sincerely care for my safety? Do some of you cops here sincerely care about a person’s safety when you give seat belt tickets or is it just following protocol to fulfill quotas?
Why should the cops care whether I wear a seat belt or not? Is not wearing a seat belt a crime?
