Need help with how to act my monologue!!!?
Between these headphones Behind my sunglasses and underneath this silly hat theres a world I own Where I live quite alone. And feel so much, so deeply. I sit in the corner of a small restaurtant At a table by myself I nibble salad sip some wine Read my book while I dine With an occasional look my eyes dash to see who surrounds me here But then I scurry back to my book Because after that look I remember whom Id like to be ME! And after the meal a quiet stroll down the street S’like floating on air with nobody there Turn on the walkman, haven’t a car Hey!… I know I’m unusual, because people always stare and… I dont know… maybe its my clothes or these buttons I wear Or maybe its the way I walk like "forget it. I dont care!" But in any event Im glad Im here making waves in the ocean of lemmings by myself in the water balanced on a log Going through my life holding steady Living with the freedom of the solitary drift On the street Any beach Im always "beyond reach" Just one A single–
