We’re thinking about putting out 16 month old in a toddler bed soon…maybe at 18 months. What age did you put your kiddos in a toddler bed? Any suggestions for the transition?
Also, any suggestions on a toddler bed?

My daughter just looks at her new toddler bed like its a big toy she can play on. But she will NOT sleep on it.

My baby sleeps in a Grobag sleeping bag now (she’s 7 months old). When did you switch your baby to a toddler bed with regular sheets, pillows, comforter, etc?
I’m not planning on giving my 7 month old a pillow.

My son’s crib broke and he is nine months old. I was wondering if I should buy him a new crib, or get him a toddler bed. Personally, I think he is too young(he just started to crawl). What do you folks think I should do.

My husband and I are starting the process to become foster parents. We have 2 bedrooms designated as kids rooms in the house already- one blue, one pink. We are open for children 0-5yrs. Do I need to have a crib, toddler bed and twin bed in my house before placement just in case? and Should I have an infant carseat, five point harness and a booster seat? I know there is financial help to get the child clothes once they are placed in your home, but should I have clothes already in case the child comes with nothing? I’m asking because with the age range we are preparing for, It seems impossible to be ready for anything.

My son’s toddler bed has a small guard rail towards the top (where his head is, down to about the middle of his upper arm). However, he moves so much that he always scoots down and ends up falling out of bed! I have never seen a small rail for a toddler bed . Any suggestions for keeping him in the bed?

My also 3 year old has been in his toddler bed for over a year but he wakes up every night. If he sleeps away from home and in a big bed he sleeps with no problem a few times he has slept in our bed and we fell asleep on the couch and he slept all night? My daughter will be 16 months in October when my second daughter is due. I already have two cribs but my husband will be deployed so I will probably be renting a furnished place back near my hometown. It would be such a hassle taking apart two cribs by myself and moving them clear across the country twice…. Could my oldest sleep in a toddler bed with rails by then?

My daughter turned 2 in July. I took the side off of her crib to make it a toddler bed however things aren’t going smoothly. She doesn’t want to sleep in her big girl bed. How do I get her to know to stay in her bed. Is she too young? Should I put the crib side back on?
