I’m traveling for the holidays and have my 8 month old with me. I want to know if the airline (southwest) will let me use my big travel system stroller (carrier and all) until I get to the gate and if so do I have to do anything so they can check it?

I am going to sell my Mikayla Travel System (stroller only).

How much should I charge? It is in very good condition with only normal wear. I have added link to picture, but looks so much more pretty in person.

My niece is a big girl and will obviously need a rear facing car seat (she’s only 8 months) but she’s pushing 22 pounds- does she need to move up to the convertible car seat? I’ve searched but I can’t find a website to verify what I learned in my baby basics class and my sister-in-law doesn’t believe me.

They are using the Eddie Bauer Travel System with the infant carrier car seat and stroller.
She doesn’t necessarily think I "made it up" so much as it probably bothers her that she made a mistake in purchasing an other one instead of moving her up to a convertible. She told me that the car seat goes up to 50-55 pounds which can ABSOLUTELY not be true, that child looks stuffed in there to begin with adding 30 pounds would just be CRAZINESS. lol

i got my travel system (car seat & stroller) used from a family member and the colors on the cover on it are like gray and purple so their pretty mutual colors but i would like something more girlie. the brand is graco.
is there a website where i can get different covers for it?
ive looked on like walmart & target. and even gracos website but couldnt find anything.

Help! I need advice on how baby car seats work. As I understand it…..first there is a travel system – infant seat up to 22 pounds that attaches right to a stroller, comes with a base, and I could buy a second base for Jim’s car; later I would buy a convertible car seat, with another second base for Jim’s car. Then there is an infant car seat, which seems just like the former, but I would need to purchase a separate stroller. Third there is a convertible car seat system, which goes to over 50 pounds, and I would need a second base. It seems that I could actually get the convertible car seat to begin with because it starts at 5 pounds (is this true?) but the disadvantage would be having to lift Avery in and out of her seat into a separate stroller even as an infant, unlike the travel system. Which systems have other parents used? Advantages and disadvantages to the system you picked? Any help is greatly appreciated!

My wife is due in a few weeks, we got the Chicco Keyfit 30 travel system that has a base that fastens in the car and the carrier Just snaps in and out. The dilemma is I want the car seat to go in the middle of my rear seat in my car. My Car is a 2007 Ford Fusion and it has the latch system that it tethers in at the bottom. The car manual says that rear facing seat should be installed on either side but not the middle and front facing seats can be installed in all 3 positions. I have the base in the middle of my rear seat and it fits great using the latch system, it has no movement and it fits tight. The reasons I don’t want to install it on the side is if a side impact happens, my car has side airbag curtain ( but that comes down from the top and I don’t think it will interfere with a car seat), and if I have people that needs to ride in the back seat it will be a lot easier for them. I just don’t understand why it says not to install it in the middle of the rear car seat.

I have a 2 door Chevy Cobalt. I went to Babies R Us looking for a travel system stroller. The stroller when folded up would not fit in my trunk due to the fact that the trunk opening is only 12×35 inches or so. Ideally I would like a lighweight stroller that still allows you to put the carseat on it. So I’m not interested in a cheap umbrella stroller. I need something supportive enough for a newborn and something that grows with my newborn.

I mean like play yard, highchair and travel system wise? We have thought about getting all matching ones but are debating between that and the fisher price rain forest theme?

I have a 14 month old toddler. We are expecting another at the beginning of next year. With our first, we purchased the Chicco travel system. Chicco does not have a dual stroller (infant and toddler). Does anyone know a dual stroller that the Chicco car seat fits in to?

I am thinking of purchasing this pricey stroller but I don’t know if I will also need to buy a car seat. I will be a first time mom this Valentine’s day and am clueless about this kind of stuff. I’ve noticed that they offer car seat adapters, but I have no clue how I would use these in my car. Since it’s pricey I’m ready to give up and purchase the Chicco travel system I had originally added to my registry. Any help is appreciated!!

On their website it states that if manufactured outside the U.S. the car seat has to have some sort of label stating its approval in that country and be manufactured under standards of the United Nations. My car seat is part of the Evenflo Aura Select travel system in Oh (bought at Babies R US) and I’ve looked and don’t see any labeling of that kind on either the car seat or the base.

Does anyone happen to know 1) if this car seat is eligible (I’ve already emailed Evenflo and am waiting for a response or 2) if airlines really check the car seat that thoroughly. I mean I would think my car seat is safe because its sold in the U.S. at Babies R Us and isn’t recalled or anything.

I’m looking for one of Graco’s older travel systems. I wanted it when I had my daughter but we ended up getting a different pattern than what I wanted. Now that I’m pregnant with our second baby I would really like to find this travel system, we already have the stroller and the playpen that match it. Is there any where you can go online to buy the older Graco patterns?

Where can I find a nice travel system stroller different from the ones in Walmart but around the same price range and babies r us is too expensive for me well Im saving money but still baby is hardly going to use it I have a car
