A cheep air bag is not the quality you can get with new. If you get a used one you do not know the quality of it. I would recommend getting a new one, if you were in a accident then your insurance pay for it, if you do not have insurance then you are dumb enough to get a used air bag to put back in. just a question, How much is your life worth?

In my area, it is illegal to install used air bag components, and with good reason. If it is in a salvage yard, the car has likely been in an accident, and all parts of that nature are suspect.
