in the middle of the back seat. not left or right judt in the middle rear facing. meaning the face and legs facing the back.
On the bonnet of the car
In the backseat, right or left side.
NEVER put the baby in the front seat.
The safest place is behind the driver’s seat or passenger’s seat in the back of the vehicle securely fastened.
In the back middle seat.
The middle of the back seat is the safest place.
Safest place is the middle of the backseat. If it doesn’t fit(some cars are to small) then behind the passenger seat would be the next safest.
In the backseat of the car, just make sure you have it properly secured down. Check your car owner’s manual, it will tell where to install car seats properly. Also read the car seat instructions. Local hospitals or police stations usually do free car seat checks, to make sure they are hooked up correctly.
in the back seat prefer in the middle. some cars the car seat doesn’t sit while in the middle so any side will work just has to be the back seat. plus for an baby the car seat has to face the rear end until the baby is one year old.
Well its against the law to have a baby seat on the front because of the airbags and risk. I think any child under 5 years old or under 90 pounds has to be strapped into a child seat in the back seats. Different states have different laws. The safest location for a baby/child seat is in the back seats of the car. Never put a baby next to the driver.
The link below may help.
Back seat, middle.
Center of the back seat. NEVER the front seat. Putting baby int he middle also protects during side collision.
The back middle seat is the safest if it fits. If not behind the passengers seat.
